yep. I followed that link and it even mentions the free trial on the overwatch landing page. I downloaded everything for blizzard and made an account. But when I go to install overwatch it only gives me the option to enter my cc and buy it for $29.99. 

I should have prepared yesterday, haha, my own fault. Maybe I'll just let this event go for now. XD
