My suggestions, though probably impossible:
1. Again, an option to hide said topics.
2. Similar to 1, add a way for users to enter tags that block them from seeing threads containing those tags.
That way it can benefit anyone that has certain triggers they'd like to avoid.

I feel like a solution to this might be to being able to ask in public forum for someone to talk to about the sensitve topics.

I have to be honest.. 11 days seems a bit like a joke.. telling someone to kill themselves, i know they gotta discuss but a couple months for a start should be the least..

Not the mods. I just feel that It can get a bit ugly because there is a lot of people with alot of different meanings and Im not saying other people's meanings are wrong, they are all right for that individual person. I just don't want to offend someone or be offended

giving someone a permanent ban is not that easy when compared to other punishments
i know that telling someone to kill themselves is not something that should be taken lightly, but it's always better to discuss things first before making final actions

I responded to a similar suggestion earlier (will add to FAQ) but unfortunately I don't think this will be possible as we would need Kaj to update programming so that it would be possible.
