I’m confused though would that mean we can only request things not voice our opinions on the planned implementations because that is bound to create discussion… n so are just requests inc enteral cos not everyone’s gonna agree to everything, like I don’t rly see what difference it makes beyond getting rid of like 2 pages that were ig irrelevant to the topic in the sense that it’s about how core team handles the suggestions rather than suggestions in themselves but I doubt a new thread will magically make that not happen again bc again that’s the nature of forums…

ig an option if they just want pure suggestions etc would make a google form or smth where people can submit ideas…

so opening up a website redesign to the users of the website is going to generate conversation. it would actually be counter-productive to have several different threads to discuss changes and request changes and would actually make it far more difficult to gather information. just because the thread is titled "requests" it doesn't mean that anything has to be listed in a neat order with absolutely no conversation. the whole point is that the core team will parse through everyones input and determine requests and changes from the discussion people have, regardless if the response is positive or negative. absolutely there are ways to give criticism that is constructive, and having read the thread i would say about 95% of it was fair. there is absolutely no reason to make a new thread- what if that one has conversation start up again? which it will

this feels very pointed at me, and i dont appreciate it, especially when i am listening to hundreds of players

in fact i think a google doc is a great idea to collect ideas and something i have done in the past to hear many opinions
