Numbers =/= Maths
The numbers help a lot, since they tell you something, but you don't have to do any Maths.

But it's not trying to get from A to Z, I asked how you get from A to B with regards to the number 1 
And with that same pattern you can get from Z to Y 


The numbers are there for a reason, it just isn't complicated math. I'll post another hint in a bit. 
I noticed after. 
But I'd already thought of A - B and Z - Y and that made no difference.

No, you don't take away 1. It's from A to B, not B to A.

it might have something to do with maths tho, i think it does bc even counting is about math so i wouldnt take that hint too seriously.

I know what a cryptogram is
but what I have + started with didn't and hasn't formed any words other than dweeb and ye. Ye seems to be the only one that actually fits.
