But even if this wasn't the case, it takes too long to get an 'article' up that it'd be too late.
Especially cause when an article is posted without a layout, the text is too small + strange and would likely still be ignored by users anyway : //

that makes sense, i was under the impression that the problem was more widespread than anticipated

I get the thinking behind this but I feel it's a little unfair. People with a lot of items get bombarded with mails about them and they can get annoying.
In the past, I've closed my wardrobe for the same reason as I've ended up with about 5 people in one day sending me mails about an item I've only juust bought or received. I'd prefer to close my wardrobe than risk getting frustrated at people for mailing me. 
(Ofc I'm a team member so I wouldn't be included but you see where I'm coming from x3?)

I enjoy the option of closing my wardrobe when I get too many "are you selling this?" messages.

Having the mods/admin see the list of usernames who have a specific item regardless if their wardrobe is open or not would be a better solution.

this + an item trade history would be absolutely amazing, i only suggested the wardrobe thing b/c i figured it would be easier to remove code than add more, especially w/ the track record of new features being broken for weeks before working properly
