maybe mods need to stop going easy on people they perceive as mentally ill. everyone on vp is mentally ill. if someone is not capable of controllin their own behavior they shouldnt be here. but mods give too many chances to people who act shitty.

you can't justify it, i want the justice i deserve for getting the comment, and the only thing that would bring some sort of "peace" is if the said person would be banned

we're definitely not justifying the actions
i'm just saying that we discuss about the matter before doing anything final

This is is so right. Idk if they got a guideline for timing but maybe that should be an option? something to go from.. something that is the same for everyone... As soon as people start getting punished and there is consequences, i feel like it would be better here.
Ofc people are gonna keep going when they get a longer and longer leach.. they are pushing the system and seeing how far they can go.

on my subreddit that i am the head moderator of- we have a zero toelrance policy for violence. if someone makes a violent threat- that's it. you're gone. end of story. skip the warnings. skip the steps. get rid of the person who has made a violent threat. it literally makes no sense to me that you guys sit around discussing this shit like it's not obvious what you need to do to protect your community.

They hire a security guard to be at the school, to protect the victim(s) from the person(s) who did that.

So for the mods to say they take it seriously, and it happens WHILE a mod is online (will not mention who), and it gets reported and it still stays up for HOURS is so shit work imo

Instead of saying "we are working hard, if it isn't anything else I will go back to do my work now" the mods should say they are sorry for not doing their work right this time.
