Same thing with Chandelier, when I let her join ET a couple years ago. Down to the 2 weeks lol.
I was on the site for I think three months when I joined the NT xd
earlier you said CT hosts something everyday, what kind of competitions do they usually do on a regular basis? dress-ups?
No there are really original competitions. There easy mostly, you'll have to tell a story about something crazy you did or describe why you want to go to a certain place, but also competitions where you have to plan out a word trip or something else that requires more effort. With those kinds you'll also get an item. Then we have the round competitions, where there are three rounds and after that there is a top ten who gets a rare set and some cr (about 50 for the #1)

But yeah, it is quite professional, but most of the teams are pretty strict and work with a system (if you miss an article you'll get a point, three points and you're out, every half a year the points are scrapped and start anew).

i'm not at all active on the Dutch VP, but from what i can tell their ET is so professional and structured like i wish it was like that years ago when i was ET member. i tried my best but somehow it never stuck and i guess even with mostly different members than back  then, it's still impossible
It's a matter of discipline really, you need to have teamcaptains who take the reigns and be the spokesperson to the admin. That way things get done much easier.

tbh I don't even know what it takes to get kicked off a team really other than obvious things, like cheating with the money or not logging in for months.
anyway, we have a schedule for members to fill in but it wasn't used this month so i guess we're kind of easygoing.

originally when I joined a few months ago, the team was pretty good at having multiple things each week (Fashionista Friday, Selfie Saturday, Giveaway Sunday) but the first 2 have kind of dropped off, especially the selfie saturday.

Yeah maybe they are oh-so-professional but there's probably also many other factors as to why that is compared to ET. I'm not disregarding or disrespecting the Dutch CT because ET is ET and CT is CT, but this seriously irritated me.

First off most, probably all, active Dutch players are from Netherlands with one single time zone. This is makes it a whole lot easier to organize competition or just simply discuss future competition and events. The English Server has members from all over the world and many many time zones to work with. People are always complaining about how codes are release for certain time zones and how it's annoying because they are away at school or sleeping. Not everyone can be satisfied due to so many different time zones.

ET members are also made up of people from different time zones so discussion and planning is also more complicated as it might even take one to two days for everyone to even see the discussion thread. This could also be applied to SMT and NT as well. This in its own way also makes it hard for a ET to be oh "so professional and structure like" as timing is everything.

that is very true. there is something I've been trying to host this week and I've been trying to clear something up for it for over a week because i can only get 1 message sent a day since i'm 6 hours behind most people and have been sleeping in.

I can totally understand that. Even so, if you have a planning with "this person does this competition on this day", how can it go wrong? Just something that I was wondering about. I mean, a schedule is a schedule right?

I even said I'm not disregarding or disrespecting Ct because being on a team is still rather quite stressing at times. I actually respect all team members for their contributions.

when people do sign up for it. aha. maybe if there was a host something every month minimum unless the person has stated they couldn't help out for the month. every current ET member has done stuff, but there are some who do more than others (like Eli).
