I think you should. In the end, if you decide you don't want to after all, you can always turn down the offer or retract your application. The way I see it, it's better to apply and say no then not apply and regret it.

That could be a scenario. But then again that's probably too easy of a question since tickets might be the easier (I don't think I want to use this word necessarily but I'll leave it for now) route for mods.
