I'm pretty sure that what they meant by steps is that they don't have the ability to perma ban someone unless they've had a certain amount of T/Os.

on my subreddit that i am the head moderator of- we have a zero toelrance policy for violence. if someone makes a violent threat- that's it. you're gone. end of story. skip the warnings. skip the steps. get rid of the person who has made a violent threat. it literally makes no sense to me that you guys sit around discussing this shit like it's not obvious what you need to do to protect your community.

you have to notice that there are also other servers and admins and mods on them and the rules have to be the same on every server

we can't just go and change them in a second

So for the mods to say they take it seriously, and it happens WHILE a mod is online (will not mention who), and it gets reported and it still stays up for HOURS is so shit work imo

Instead of saying "we are working hard, if it isn't anything else I will go back to do my work now" yhe mods should say they are sorry for not doing their work right this time.

I am assuming, they'd timeout whoever said it, depending on their previous timeouts / ban is up for discussing etc. I understand, they can't just ban someone for "no" reason
