It tells us what people's strengths and weaknesses are with dealing with people. my answer to my weakness: i tend to put a lot into my work and struggle with work life balance and will do someone else's job if they slack off.

i've just given you a second peice of positive information about myself using the weakness format. it's a lousy question. people hate answering it and it doesn't actually give you the information that you think you're asking for.
That's how you choose to answer the question, other's answer it differently.

it isn't like that with everyone. i had answered with maybe 3 weaknesses i have, not one was positive. but it is something i will work on. dont try to put your experiences out as universal for everyone.
protip: don't do that at a real job interview. you're doing it wrong if you don't use the weakness quesiton as an opportunity to say something positive about yourself.
there is a difference between applying for moderator on a dressup website, and to apply for a real-life job. i have been to actual job interviews, and most, if not all of them, asked me to list some sort of "weakness", somehing i could work on. of course, they asked me what my strengths were too.
