Isn't it the same thing as saying LE codes isn't fair? If one just logged in some hours before they could have gotten the items for free. And i dont see the problem in LE codes either.

I think that low ig items and the fact that we can collect items is one of the fun parts about this site. Not being able to get everything is perfect, one should be able to do that.

i mean, i don't care about owning everything. just the items i like and want to use.
i see your point, i don't think it's necessarily unfair to have LE codes. but i also don't think it's unfair to release more of the same item, either. i don't think they're mutually exclusive things.

i'm not into collecting, so that doesn't appeal to me.

Theoretically i might support it. There are items on my wishlist with 2 in the game; I've had the designer tell me straight up I can't get them. I have items of which there are 4 in the game and I own 2 of them, yet I've never gotten an offer higher than like 40cr while female items go for literally thousands.
Ultimately, administration is a mixture of unwilling and unable to invest the necessary resources and quality control needed for a site like this to last. Don't waste your energy on something that won't utilize your enthusiasm.

i actually used gaia as a negative example as to how badly hyperinflation can go somewhere in the thread. gaia's inflation is total shit. no one disagrees there. however, i referenced the limited edition item business model as a positive thing because the way it's structured actually decreases the price of inflated items.

source: i used to spend a shitload on gaia when i had the chance, and i've seen a lot of my expensive items deflate horribly because of rereleases. it actually doesn't bother me that much though, since i benefit from being able to buy other items i want for cheaper.

that's a pretty negative thing to say, but i assume you know the staff better than i would. if that's the case, then that's pretty depressing. vp has a lot of potential, i think, but i agree some features are so wonky it feels very outdated, as if no one's really taken the care to make necessary changes.

i kinda understand this with like those 2ig items which are super old
but that shirt was WWIB price not a long ago so why the fuck should other ppl get it practically for free and the ones who have won it won't get anything from it if they decide to sell it later?

i mentioned in the first post that competition items should remain exclusive. at the time of posting, i didn't know that was a competition item.
