public threads allow admins to see that more than just one person shares the same opinion, allows for further discussion so that community members can share opinions and ideas and ultimately arrive to an agreement together  ???
these aren't 'complaining' threads, they're perfectly reasonable discussion threads, and just because you might agree with the changes doesn't mean you should be silencing people who want to discuss their drawbacks.
