I'm Tess, and I was hired as an Admin on EN after being Admin on NL for approx. 1,5 years and a moderator before that for 4,5 years, all of which has taught me a lot about the website and how to handle certain situations. It was a big change from NL to EN, since this community is bigger and has a different 'vibe', because there's a lot of different nationalities and cultures on here.
At the moment, we don't have a timeline, but Decode does have a thread that lists things that are being worked on and which things take priority, for example. Since this isn't a fulltime job for anyone (Admins, developers, owner, etc.) we have to work on the website in our downtime, so we can't do very frequent updates, especially big ones. We do have an update thread, though, where Arthema and I update everyone on what has happened and what's next. (although for April I haven't written anything yet, I'm very sorry, I have been very busy and other things have taken priority).

would have been nice, yk.
Well, as I said, you can ask me anything. bittersweetmemories wrote:

Then the delay is understandable but I still think etjen should hire paid tech support for cases like this lag.
More transparency in general would be nice like some more background info about the people working behind the scenes on vp, especially when it's someone who works with the code and has access to sensitive user information.
I'm happy to answer any questions you might have about who I am, but I also understand that not everyone will feel comfortable with sharing details about themselves and everyones privacy should be respected. I hope you can trust that we won't let anyone have access to sensitive information without interviews and some vetting.
