No I was debating on whether or not the blogger team even get anything for blogging which appears that it literally just a badge. I would rather not apply since it's just a badge and most people don't get as much as exposure to their blog as they make it seem since it falls under social media team as well. Hence, where the team still seem fishy. 

It makes total sense if they have authorization to have HTML/CSS. It could be implemented by the use of the badge like how the features from mod/et/nt/admin/designer work.

It makes sense in theory, but none of those teams have an HTML function.
Any functions we have are normally hidden pages and a couple extra buttons.

It doesn't only appear with the badge though.
If you have access to the page that allows an HTML then you can use it.
We can't use it in our blogs or profiles, it doesn't exist anywhere else but a select few pages.

It doesn't only appear with the badge though.

Unless Kaj has it set up a different then way then it's still quite possible.  Just like how when someone is assigned a badge the tools appear for them. They would be set to hidden for all normal users then shown when the user has that qualified attribute. It shows up as an identifier. It's in javascript and PHP... eh.
