The SMT codes are bad for VPs economy
Account deleted

Agree or disagree?

I mean if they were in the shops for crs (especially Solovey's outfits) then some of the credits would be returned to VP, thus lowering the total amount of cr in game. This would also help with the ridiculous prices that people are offering for certain things. Less crs in game means less cr to offer for items.

I'm just saying maybe there should be more shop updates and less of this. Like Kaj promised. 4 shop updates a week. Ya right.

ya with items that clearly no one really wanted because they weren't bought too many times. Also they were pd items and there doesn't seem to be a pd issue on vp overall.

i do see where you're coming from, but it would also really depend whether the items in the shop would cost cr and be le or not

I mean one code would also be nice for a holiday. I mean a shop update with holiday themed clothes would also be nice.

And I don't really understand like does whoever posts most codes win or something/

if they were quality items people would buy them whether they're LE or not.

i think Le codes do that, cause you can see some of the low ig outfits sell for insane prices, but unlimited codes or 200-300 ig don't ruin the economy

Like i said they are bad for the economy because free items means that the pd/cr amount goes up from playing games etc. but doesn't go down from people buying items.

It's not about whether ridiculous prices are offered for those particular items, just that they're free.

Hmm, that's an interesting argument.

I always thought the intention of the codes was to make sure that everyone who can't buy or obtain credits could still have nice clothes and have fun in the game - something that Kaj went on about a lot during the credit set update.

Putting things like Solovey's sets in the shop would funnel cr back into the website, but usually when something like that goes up it's for a ton of cr or it's LE and the same people tend to grab it first. A lot of people would leave because they can't afford anything.

I also don't think it will help with the ridiculous prices people offer for some things - the Solovey wings alone are going to be expensive. Imagine if they were really LE and you could only get them in the shop for cr. Prices would skyrocket.

I never said they had to be LE items, just that it'd be nice if they were sold in the shops instead.

I mean let's face it some codes are ugly af but some are hella nice. And all shop items are either ugly af or average. So not a lot being spend there.

The sol sets were already available on Dutch server so they couldn't have been shop sets
