I'm not a BT member but personally when I looked at the SMT applications is if people put effort into it and you can tell with a long story that people put effort into it but if it's useless unoriginal information it's easily something that becomes a negative thing and short is also useless if it doesnt deliver a good message. But long without turning it into an unintersting and boring story and originality or short but concise and original is generally the way to go for an application.
