Initially, I was against this idea because the BT had a different purpose than the NT, it's supposed to be more personal and less news. And considering the amount of members both teams have, it's very disappointing to see so little activity. I understand there are always 'situations' we don't know of, but it also proves that neither of the teams know how to properly compensate for these situations.

The new team will just be the NT (NT + BT) and the BT will be dissolved. If people want to write about personal stuff they are free to do so individually.

pros;
- BT gets more exposure
- NT can become more active
- output increases

cons;
- the BT platform for personal blogs disappears
- one team less on VP

if there are more pros/cons pls tell me.

It's too early to explain why I think no but I can come back to this later. Long story short though, in NT at least, we're all going through a lot and some more reorganising may be in order - but I don't think it's enough to merge two teams who write about different content on different platforms

bt wouldn't get more exposure if they stopped using blogs, it would just (perhaps) increase articles on the news team

We can't just merge them together because then BT would have to be deleted on all servers, not just here. And I doubt Kaj would do that and the other servers probably wouldn't accept it

Everyone is allowed to their own opinion, and people can discuss what they think is best for the game/community, even if they are not on the teams. 
I do agree on the server-thing tho.
