I haven't come across a lot of people who are from France/speak French here, but I think it would be nice. A couple of months ago I started casually learning French with an app called Drops, which only teaches vocabulary. I'm not sure I'm actually going to start learning it for real, with grammar and all that, since it seems difficult. Besides, I don't know if learning it on my own without having "real" lessons would work for me.

Yes. I study French as my major subject at/in the university so I need to practice my French.

Ah, I see. How long have you been studying French? I studied German for seven years, from primary 6 until I finished high school, but I'm still not good at it. Now it's been two years since I last had German, so I'm probably even worse at it now.

It's my second year now.=) I started to study French in the high school when I was 16 years old so it has been 8 years in August. I also study German as my minor subject at the university because it's the first foreign language which I have started to learn at school.=)
