DOUBLE EDIT: I got a (to be blunt, very confusing and not very informative) message in reply, but at least it's a start? Will update thread whenever I get some answers.

TRIPLE EDIT: Design Team is apparently going on hiatus, so I'll just post the PM I sent them here. As a side note, I would LOVE if team members could start signing PMs so that we could see who we're contacting with- Being sent one PM from one team member, and then having another team member have to pick up that slack probably adds to an already-confusing stream of input.

no they shouldnt have removed that thread but they were probably very embarrassed by the conversation on the thread about how they werent responding to messages. i would be embaressed if i was them too.
