The Social Media Team, or SMT, is the team behind the official VP social media pages on Twitter, Tumblr & Instagram. In addition to keeping the social media pages active, the team also hosts fun competitions and raffles for vp's users!

SMT is split into multiple groups depending on roles and social media platform affiliation. The two main roles on the team are page managers and layouters, and in addition we have our team designers helping us with everything related to prizes and codes!
The page managers are responsible for posting content on their respective social media page, as well as plan and host the competitions associated with their page. They are split into three groups: Twitter, Tumblr and Instagram managers. As a page manager, you need to be both creative and organised, as well as knowing your way around a social media platform!
The layouters create all the beautiful images you see on our social media pages. They are not responsible for any of the media specific competitions, however, as a layouter you are more than welcome to share your thoughts and ideas on everything the page managers are planning. As a layouter you need to be equipped in an editing program, to allow yourself the freedom to create!
We are now looking for both page managers and layouters,
so whichever position you fancy, now is the time to apply!
We will not be hosting bootcamp this year,
but all new members will be on a three month trial period.

1) A mod tells you that a number of sides have entered your event. What would you do about the situation, and what steps would you take to help minimise the chances of it happening in the future?
2) Azriel was supposed to have a layout ready before Tuesday for the Raffle to go live. It is now Tuesday, and nothing has been posted, causing the event to be affected and delayed.
She has been online all morning on VP, but hasn't said anything in the Discord about her absence.
What would you do?
3) Someone is complaining in the "Who Wore It Best" thread that the same people win every month, and that the event must be rigged. They also complain there's never enough winners and that the items are too low in game. This is starting to cause a bit of an uproar as several other users chime in. There's also a separate forum created where people are asking for actions to be taken. What would you do to defuse the situation?
4) [Only for page managers] Someone you have never seen before messages you on one of the VP social media pages. They have found your page and wanted to know more about the site and why you use it.
What would you say to the person to try and get them to make a user and stick around?
5) You've been in the team for a few months, and you're feeling overwhelmed and stressed about events in your real life which has led to you spending less time on team activities, and struggle to contribute properly. What would you do in this situation?
