Hello everyone! SMT has started a new journey with our
Social Media pages and would like to hear which pages you want us to use
to get the greatest opportunity to get new members to VP.

At the moment we have the following pages:

Twitter

TikTok

We've been thinking about using threads, and this is where we want to hear
what you think about whether we should introduce threads
or whether we should keep Twitter. But we'd also like to hear if you have
other pages you'd like us to use (if we get enough people on the team).

but imo its not the lack of advertising thats not getting new people!!!!! the game itself is the reason why its hard getting new people cuz its hard being a new player and most quit cuz the features r so confusing

but as an advertising platform tiktok is the way to go because it reaches younger generations that are attached to their phones and most likely to stay. twitter i believe is the second best on that front. insta is mostly used as art portfolios or for photography so i'm not sure if vp can succeed there. i'm old tho so i'm completely out of the loop thus this is just my estimate.

pinterest is good if you keep spamming it with "aesthetic" y2k images/looks since that's what ppl are into these days. i'm a pinterest addict myself with 100+ followers (not all that much but i also don't rly put in any effort lmao) and they all eat up my sims 4 y2k shit for some reason.

i don't know anything about threads and never hear anyone talk about it, so it's prolly the worst of the bunch. but i wouldn't know.

I think a better choice to promote vp is on tiktok. The recent nostalgia comp and video made by sadbread is a very good idea and i think smt should really invest more in tiktok instead of making an account on threads.

This! Maybe smt can make a tiktok explaining the features of this game and how things work. Then pin the vids so they'll stay at the top.

I don't know if threads are used or not, but this is where we want to see what the user base says.
