Hello VP Community! After receiving all of your nominations, the Event Team has narrowed all of the choices down to five very special finalists. We have interviewed them and retyped their answers into a paragraph in hopes of preserving their anonymity as well as keeping this from turning into an all out popularity contest. Please read all of the choices below, pick your favorite, and enter everything in the link no longer available.

The link was available until voting closed on the 28th.

It is important for you to put your username, not only so that your vote counts but so you can be entered into our monthly raffle. Also, if you nominated and you voted for someone, you will be entered into the raffle twice.

Option 1:

This nominee was nominated for being friendly, always going around saying hi to everyone, and asking about their day. Her favorite thing about Virtual Popstar is how easy it is to communicate with everyone. She feels that the only way she has contributed to the site is by being friendly to everyone and by participating in the forums. Though she has only been a member for about a month, her VP goal is to reach the highest level she can, at least Queen of Pop. Something that she hopes will improve in the site is for more clothes to be put in the shops because many people have many amazing designs that she would like to see in the shops. As for anyone with doubts about this site, she would like them to know about how friendly and kind everyone is. She would also suggest talking to someone when you are uncertain or feeling left out because we would do what we can do to help. During her personal time, she enjoys reading, listening to music, hanging out with friends and swimming. She tries to focus on enjoying all the little things in everyday life. Her main goal in life is to do what she can to help others. She enjoys working with people with disabilities and would like to do more to help them in their lives. Something interesting about her that no one would guess is that when she was a kid, she had a learning disability. She had to work really hard in school to get good grades. By the time she finished high school, she had overcome it, but still thinks of herself as someone with a learning disability because it's a part of who she is today. Her favorite dessert is just anything with chocolate because she loves chocolate!

Option 2:

This nominee was nominated by two people for being kind, a good friend, and an absolute fashionista. Her favorite thing about Virtual Popstar is the community. She loves everyone on the site and feels as if she can express her thoughts freely without being judged. She also loves this community because it helps her build her confidence and social skills. She has been on the site since January 3rd, by simply clicking on someone's voting link! Something that she would like to change is how active the admins are because she believes it is not fair that we are not getting as much we should. She also feels that we shouldn't have to wait weeks and weeks for new items and that more designs by designers without badges could be added to the shops as well so that they could get a shot too. She has contributed to VP's success by bringing over 30 new users. Her vp goal is to raise enough credits to get a least a one month or three month memberships. She would also like to get over 500 people to join, to get 24 out of 24 stars, and complete her wish list. As for people with doubts about this website, she would like to say that this isn't just for one type of person or group, it belongs to everyone. The community is free and non- judgmental. In her personal time, she either plays on virtual popstar, goes on I-dress-up to chat with her friends, hangs out with friends, watches movies, eats, watches anime, or reads manga. An interesting fact about her is that she is Italian and Canadian. As for favorite deserts, she has a whole list including fudge, cakes, cup cakes, cookies, candies, chocolates, and ice cream.

Option 3:

This nominee was nominated for activity and being sweet. She has also helped many people make friends and is one of the most caring people on vp. She has been a member for a little over a year. Her favorite thing about vp is the community because we are like a tight-knit family to her since our site is so much smaller than other sites. Although she understands why the admins can’t always be online, something she wants to improve is activity of the admins. Also, she would like it if there were more active users because she sometimes feels that it gets pretty lonely. Her vp goal is mainly having an even better wardrobe and making lots of good friends. She has contributed by being very active and helping out new users as much as she can. She is a member of one the teams and also makes a great effort to be helpful and active in the team’s activities. As for people with doubts about vp, she just wants them to give it a chance! The community is very supportive of one another, and she can guarantee you that with our diversity, there's a place for you in our family. In her personal time she writes, listens to music, or talks to all of the people on this site. She hopes to become a writer one day because she hopes to inspire or make a difference for someone who needs it. An interesting thing about her that most people don't know or would never guess is her love for nature. She’d much rather be out in the forest than shopping around in the city. Her favorite dessert is ice cream, but unfortunately, she's lactose-intolerant.

Option 4:

This nominee was nominated for having a great sense of fashion and being fabulous. She's also a very caring and considerate person, buying people items. She has been a member since January of 2013, for over a year now. She really loves the community. It allows people to make new friends, and she just thinks it's amazing to go in the forums and know everyone's name while being able to laugh with them freely. A few things she would like to see change is the amount of care in the layout of the game and how as you get higher level, it becomes harder and harder to level up. She has contributed to vp by being an active member, either always posting in or creating forums thread. She also try to help people stay positive by giving advice or a few compliments here and there. As for people with doubts about the site, she would advise to look in the forums because the people are like a second family. There will always be a group of friends, or just a person who stands out from everyone else that just makes you feel great. She would suggest trying to meet the people on here and giving the people a shot. Her one goal on vp is not to get the highest level, have the most rare items, or anything of the sort, it's just to be able to say that she knows everyone. She would love to have the chance to meet and talk to everyone at least once or twice. In her personal time, she enjoys writing. She has written a lot of fanfiction, is very passionate about writing, and has been for four years. As for dreams or aspirations, she is currently set on getting started with her university career so she can go teach English in foreign countries because it's actually been a goal of hers for a long time. An interesting thing about her that no one knows or would guess is that she can sing pretty much all the Pokemon theme songs, raps, and name almost any Pokemon. Her favorite desert is a hot fudge sundae with extra hot fudge.

Option 5:

This nominee was nominated twice for being kind, lovely, and hardworking. She has been on this site only since the beginning of April. Her favorite thing about vp is the people because with them around, there is never a dull moment. She loves answering mails and goofing off in the forums as well. Some things she would like to improve on this site is for there to be more users, more activity from the admins, and more items in stores on a regular basis. She also thinks that we should have a regular change the site’s background or at least have a background that can go all year long. She would also love if the team members started getting rewarded for their efforts again because some of them work so hard and don't get as much credit as they deserve (e.g. her being one of the hardest workers herself). She does a lot of things for vp that most people don’t know about like messaging people to help or comfort them and allowing them to vent to and depend on her. She's also a member of one of the teams here where a lot of the members often turn to her for help. Most of the time, she takes on more work than she should but does so willingly as long as it benefits the site. As for vp goals, she wants to be the queen of pop one day and maybe receive another badge or so. Though she doesn't usually set goals for websites, one goal that she would really like to achieve is reaching the top ten here. As for people with doubts, her message is to just try it because the people here are all so welcoming and friendly that it really is a great experience. Vp doesn’t feel like a popularity contest like GSM did to her. As for her personal time, she works in a preschool while also juggling college classes. When she’s not busy with those, she's usually spending time with her family and friends. Her most ambitious goals at the moment are to finish undergraduate/graduate school in college, maybe even with the highest honor of Summa Cum Laude. She wants to earn a psychology degree and become a child psychologist. An interesting thing about her that people would not be able to guess is that unlike many people she has never been on an airplane in her life, but has had the chance to fly on a helicopter instead. Her favorite dessert is Devil's Food Cake.
