activity - we get spurts like when the gsm sites went private, but since the site has nothing going for it most of them don't stick around and stay active; forums die out again. apparently the ET couldn't carry out the big summer event because some people couldn't manage their parts of the schedule, which is very unfortunate as they're the only ones organizing events for the site at all since Kaj isn't around. 

clothes - unless you spend your money on the site or top the top 10 list every week good luck collecting unavailables... plus there's so many now it's not like they're that special anymore unless they're actually pretty. and this is probably just a personal thing but I love ratskeleton's design style so much I can't even wear most other skins or hairs anymore, but they are sponsor/monthly/credit items majority of the time so I can't get most of them so there goes that. the games pay shit for people who don't want to throw money on a site that is going nowhere. yeah they can get items from the wheel/games but so will 60-100 other people (which is almost the entire active playerbase lmao) that week so it's nothing valuable. no wonder new people don't stick around, it's so hard to start without spending money or a lot of free time. I'm only doing ok because I already had rares, but I'm gonna have to sell them if I want much more new items. 

admin - never on our server aside to announce things.. or make things cost more because I totally want to spend real money to post shouts barely anyone reads. his controversies are just the icing on the cake, but what bothered me more is the fact he outright banned a few people on the dutch server for speaking against him when stuff came to light. 


I don't blame anyone for leaving, I'm only here if Han/Sabrina want to mail me and to dress up my avatar with the items I already had. I stopped using my main account months ago and then deleted it. just on this one infrequently.. tbh I actually come on here to see if things are getting any better.. it's like a car crash, I just can't look away. 

For some reason more people are spending more money on the site than ever though.. I'm guessing users from gsm who are trying to catch up to the other users who have been here longer. Or because the site is more cash grabby than before since buying items with real money is more of a thing than it used to be.  Mix of both I'd guess, either way the unavailable collectors and the handful of new gsm users that stuck around and are trying to build up an account are now the two groups keeping the server alive, so I'm sure Kaj is happy to keep the server around while they line his pockets. but that doesn't mean he's actually going to improve the site much. Eventually they'll give up on the site and get tired of paying and the site will close. Or they'll be the only people left and the site will continue on zombie mode. I predicted when cosmo would die 2 years before it did, but I have no idea on this one. It's not being run by a business, just by a man who lost his wife and partner in founding the site along the way.. hm.  Could happen soon, could be a year or more. 

tl;dr -  vp keeps falling down a slippery slope, so people are bailing
