lilliane smiled up at him when he came over to her. he made her day just a little better, the way he was just so polite and friendly and understanding. "well you see you've got hands that can deal with all the trays and stuff, and you can carry them about. I only have small fingers so I can't do tha very well without stretching them.." she laughed.

Scott grinned. "Yeah, but I'm clumsy, so I trip over a lot of the time." he said. "You're like some fairy. You move so smoothly and quietly, you're so precise." he said, smiling down at her. He was glad that he had made her a bit happier, even if it wasn't much.

lilliane nodded. "I am too, but people get mad when I make a mess of things, or do them wrong, so I try my best not to screw up." she smiled slightly, biting on her thumbnail gently. victor would always flip out at hr even when she made the smallest of mistake, like putting tomato sauce on his chips instead of brown sauce.

lilliane shrugged her shoulders, not quite sure how she would tell him, if she ever did. it was difficult enough for her to come to terms with the fact that her boyfriend had been manipulating her, but to admit it to someone else. "my boyfriend.. he does't like it when I get things wrong.." she began, trying to avoid his eyes.

lilliane shrugged, pulling her sleeves over her hands, becoming very uncomfortable in the situation. "he does sometimes.. when he gets mad. but it's my fault.. I do things that make him mad. sometimes I don't realise but I should cos then it wouldn't happen." she shrugged again.

lilliane gasped quietly when he took her hand, and frowned slightly, looking at scott. "we got together when I was 14. he had just turned 17. he'll be 19 next week, so it's been two years now." she shrugged her shoulders. "it wasn't so bad at first. he'd just yell at me now and again. but one night we were.. you know.. and he got violent."

Scott let go of her hand, he could tell that she didn't want to be touched, and he could understand why. He nodded his head gently. "Listen, Lilliane, if you need any help don't be afraid to ask me, or anyone else for that matter. It isn't your fault, really."

"there's nothing you can do. he despises me and there's nothing I can do about that. but I love him." she mumbled, feeling like a fool. why on earth would scott care?

Scott looked at her, she made him feel so sad. He didn't want her to love her boyfriend, as selfish as that may sound. But in his mind, anyone who hurt her didn't deserve her, and he couldn't quite get his head around why she woukd still love him. "Lilliane..."

lilliane frowned, nudging her head into him, hiding her face so he didn't see her cry again. she took a deep breath, trying to fix herself. but it just wasn't working. she didn't want him to ask more questions, she had already told him too much. "I need to go home. I don't mind if I don't get paid for today.. I just really need to go.."

lilliane wiped her eyes roughly. "don't be silly. i'm sorry I piled this all up on you. just forget I ever said anything, it's not your problem to deal with." she shrugged, looking up at him. she bit her lip before kissing his cheek, and then walked out to the staff room to collect her things.
