Caden felt everything inside him almost die. She... wanted him to put away the knife? Didn't she undetstand what she just protected? Didn't she understand that she just made herself part with the other side? He begged to what ever God that exsisted taht the Mystics didn't see what she just did. It would be hell of a conflict. Even if Caden didn't know right now what this creature was he would understand as soon as he observered that boyfriends living pattern. When she got forward and threw the knife away he knew that she maybe was truly lost. Lost as in lost being a part of the Alliance the Hunters stood besides. Lost as in that he would never be allowed by the Mystics to tell her about them. Caden didn't know what the mystics would feel about it, sometimes they made the wierdest things. Like promoting his father to the leader of the Hunter Circle. That was probably the most stupid thing they could ever do. His father would never take his mothes place.
Caden saw the creature slippered of towards the college. Caden had all the chance in the world to roll over to the knife and threw it at him but he didn't. He just stood there starring at Violet. He wanted to scream at her, telling her that letting him go was the biggest mistake she ever made.. but she would never know that. He would never let her know that. It would destroy her world knowing that not everyone was good. Caden sighed. He had probably already destroied her world becuase he seemed like the bad guy in this situation. Then it was only to go on being the bad guy, if that would mean her realizing anything.
"You said that you want the truth. I'm going to give it to you. The first thing is: He doesn't count as a someone. He's nothing like you and he's nothing like me. Oh.. I'm sorry. I didn't use the right pronouns." He was so sarcastic.
"It doesn't count as someone. It's nothing like you and it's nothing like me. The second is that when I said that my duty was dangerous and that you should have turned around, I meant it. It wasn't an escape line, it was the truth. That... thing... will hurt someone now when I showed my true self and it won't be a nice thing to watch. It will be more horrible then threathen someone with a knife, I can promise you that."
