"Yeah..." Sage was thinking about what happened, when she almost lost control of her emotions. As much as it pained her- as much as her emotions would eat her up inside- pushing them down was her only option. She didn't want anyone else getting hurt because of her. The best thing to do was distract herself. "Great day for kicking butt!" She ran ahead of Renee.

With one swift movement, he stabbed her in the side, "I told you, you couldn't take me down unless you had your friend near you. She's the one who gives you your power. Without her, all you would be is a villager."

Now." he said. She nodded and fell straight forward, diving face first towards the ground below.

Renee struggled to pick her self up from the ground after the man had left. She had heard him say something about how a girl had escaped, but after that, everything went black, "Sage!" She heard a young boy say. Renee sat up to see Sage sitting in a field of flowers. She smiled when she saw the boy running toward her. Renee looked down, not wanting to remember the image she had saw earlier. Instead she got up and walked the other way. She knew that her childhood home had to be around somewhere, and she was determined to find it. Se had been looking around for an hour, when she saw herself as a young girl, and what looked to be her father. They were laughing and talking while eating their usual lunch, leek soup. Renee felt a tear fall down her face, but she quickly whiped it away, "Wake up." She looked to her left to see a man to her left, he had bright green eyes and black hair, "Wake up." He said again. Renee closed her eyes, and suddenly, she was back in the small red room. She looked up to see the man she had seen in her dream. He smiled at her, and held out his hand. Renee slowly took it and smiled back. The man picked her up and walked toward the door. Renee looked up at him, and studied his face. He had stubble on his chin, and his jaw was firm. He looked down at her and she blushed but quickly whiped all emotion from her face and said firmly, "I can walk on my own, you know." The man nodded, "I know." and he slowly put her down. Renee tried to stand on her own, but fell to her knees. She suddenly felt a sharp pain in her side. She remembered that the man whom had taken her, had also stabbed her, "By the way, I'm Duncan." The man said before helping her up. Renee staggered for a moment, but regained her balance, "I'm Renee, she said walking on."
