Louis sighed, about to reply, but she had already hung up. He stood up and walked to the door when she knocked. Before he answered he glanced in the mirror and sighed, he looked like utter crap. He opened the door and smiled a little ''Hey.'' he said as he  opened the door for her and let her in. He wanted to pull her into his arms and not let go but he had to stop himself, he didn't know what she wanted and he wouldn't do anything until he did know.

Louis gave her a small smile ''Yeah I didn't really sleep last night, I couldn't so I got up early and started working.'' he said as he closed the door. Whenever he was angry or upset or anything like that he would throw himself into work, that would be all that he would do, work, work and work. ''Do you want a drink or something to eat?'' he asked, looking around  a bit because he didn't want to her angry face when they started to talk about things, he hated when she was upset with him.

adelita nodded slowly. she didn't really need to ask more about it, she knew he'd probably been overworking himself all morning but he would just refuse to admit it. she turned back to him and shrugged. "could I have something to drink please? just a milkshake or something from the fridge." she shrugged and looked at anything but him. she knew she had her angry face on but she couldn't help it, she couldn't pretend to be happy.

Louis nodded ''Yeah of course.'' he said as he walked into the kitchen and got out her favorite chocolate milkshake and poured it into a nice milkshake glass like you would get if you had a milkshake in some ice cream parlor. He grabbed the cream and put a little bit on top with a bit of chocolate and a cherry. ''There you go,'' he said as he walked back to where she was and handed it to her. He sat down and sighed ''So..'' he said awkwardly, he didn't  know what to say because he seemed to just make her more angry.

adelita went in and sat in the comforter chair she always sat in when she was there, taking the milkshake when he gave it to her. she munched on the cherry and then sipped at it, using a small spoon to eat the cream from the top. she stayed quiet for a little while but it seemed that even just the milkshake had calmed her down completely, made her a little more happier. "so.. what?" she said back to him, eventually looking over at him.

adelita crossed her legs while she sat in the chair and nodded as she listened to him, using the straw to sip the milkshake, it was keeping her in a happy place, and keeping her from talking back at him, like she had a habit of doing. this had become very bitter very quickly. "I just don't like constantly being compared to her. you're still caught up on her and I know I will never be the kind of woman she was. i'll never be like that and it feels like that's what you want me to be." she rubbed her stomach. "i'm keeping it.." she told him, very quietly.

He looked up at her and nodded "Can I be involved? And what is going to happen with us?" He asked.

"well if you're still trying to get over it, then why did you rush into things with me? you must have known it wasn't going to help, from the start it never seemed like a good idea." she frowned, thinking about it. "i've just ruined things and I know that. of course you can be involved." she whispered.

He shook his head ''I wish you would have told me but in reality it's all my fault, if I had used protection then things would be so different. I'm sorry, I can't express how sorry I am.'' he said as he stroked her cheek.

that was all adelita really needed. she just needed him to comfort her and take charge in this situation, she was all over the place and making decisions was not her strong point at that moment. she hid her face against his shoulder and sat there with him, listening to him. "we rushed into this way too much and we shouldn't have. it was such a mistake but I just love you so much now and I can't let that go." she admitted, her head facing away from him.

"it was crazy, completely crazy. and now we have a baby and I have no idea how i'm going to cope.." she frowned a little, pulling away slightly so that she could look up at him. it wasn't an angry face any more, she was just scared. "I forgive you.." she said finally, nodding her head slowly.
