Carly sighed as she stared at her suitcase. She didn't know what to take and what not to take, she had no idea what the weather would be like so she basically packed her entire wardrobe. "Ok ok im coming!" She shouted as she zipped her suitcase up and then picked it up, making her way down to where xanthe was. She smiled at him "Sorry I didn't know what to take with me and what not to take. I took a mix of everything. Right let's go!" She said and grabbed his hand and walked out to the car. She couldn't wait to see her family, it had been a while.

Louis fell asleep for a while but then woke up, feeling great. He was glad things were finally getting better and he couldn't wait for their baby to be here. He kissed her cheek and got up, heading to make her a nice romantic meal as a little treat for and him, for them both just to relax. He just wanted to make her pregnancy as easy for her as Possible. He couldn't hide how excited he was though.

Louis set the table all nice and made her favourite food, it wasn't anything too fancy just nice and what they both liked. He put the food in the oven and went upstairs. He sat on the bed next to her and stroked her hair "I made dinner lovely, it's in the oven just thought I would let you know." He said and kissed her cheek and looked down at her. He couldn't have been happier now that she was home.

"I love you a lot, y'know, louis? like I know I don't act like it a lot. but I really do appreciate everything." she smiled.

Louis smiled a little and looked down at her, thinking just what a lucky man he was. "Ok beautiful, if you want stay here until it's ready and I'll shout you when it is." He said as he grinned a little when she hugged him and then kissed his bare skin. "I know lovely, you don't always show it but when you do it sure is lovely. I love you too, I really really do. You mean so much to me." He said and gave her a soft kiss. "Right I'm going to finish dinner, I will see you in a little bit lovely." He said and went back downstairs.

"okay babe, i'll be down in a bit." she got out of bed when he'd gone, standing in front of the mirror, she rubbed her stomach gently, smiling, just the smallest amount. maybe having a baby wouldn't be so bad after all. she pulled on a pair of leggings and an oversized vest top, and headed downstairs into the kitchen. "oooh this smells delicious!"

He looked at Xanthe and held his hand out ''Nice to meet you young man, my daughter hasn't shut up about you when she phones home so it's nice to finally meet you. Your treating her like the princess she is, I hope?'' he asked as he raised an eyebrow at him, giving him the if you hurt her I will kill you look. 

Louis plated up the dinner he had made and then set the plates down at the table where he had lit some candles and poured some cans of cola into wine glasses because he knew she couldn't drink wine ''I hope it is delicious, I made your favorite.'' he said and kissed her cheek and pulled her chair out for her to sit down. ''Do you feel better after having a sleep?'' he asked as he took his own seat.

"I feel calmer now.. i'm not stressed about things like I was before."

He nodded ''Good, you don't need to be stressing. It could be bad for the baby.'' he said as he looked over at her ''I'm glad you feel better now though lovely.''

"I think baby has gone to sleep for now, it seems to have settled."

''That's good you can just relax now baby. Does it feel weird when it moves around?'' he asked.

"it's the weirdest thing ever. the worst bit is I have no control over it. it calms down when it hears your voice though."

Louis smiled "I'm honestly not bothered, I really drank to much  anyway do cutting down won't be bad for me at all and I don't have a reason to drink so much anymore either." He use to drink because of Maria, to forget about the things that happened. Now he drank no where near as much. He laughed "I bet it does feel strange. I have a feeling this baby is going to be a daddy's boy or girl. I'm so excited." He grinned at her and held her hand in his own and stroked it softly.

"have you thought about if you want a girl or boy?" she asked, biting her lip. she'd already found out at the 20 week scan what it was.
