@alwin  Aa I can try to help if you want. Is he optimistic, thinking that things will turn out okay or does he immediately give up? Maybe he's just confused. Does he have a question, even if he knows he knows he won't get an answer (maybe more of a discussion on what is going to happen with them), or overall reaction to what Dean said? He doesn't have to say something immediately.
(i think he's mostly anxious about being in a confined space atm, haha
feeling a little better knowing he isn't alone, though
idk)

In the position they were in, Monty did not want to provoke a dangerous bear. His confidence was still hurt from last time.
"I tried to get one of them to talk to me before but all that got me was a half-assed sedation. They're not talkers! They're stupid!" He made sure to say that last part a bit too loud. Not wanting to did not mean not going to.
