Nix, not having any recent experience in driving, flung himself over to the drivers seat and took over. He was grateful she didn't ask him to fire, but he shot her a look. This was an even more awful idea than telling him to shoot, but he kept his mouth shut and steered as best he could. "My driving is shitty but it seems you can manage," he shouted to her. He swerved a bit, but that was uncontrollable considering he was just leaned over. "Aim for the tires, not their heads!" Nix didn't want them dead, they didn't seem dangerous. Obviously, they were running away and not fighting back. Not a moment after those words left his lips, did he realise that she wasn't going to listen. I'm wasting my breath.

"We're going to die. That's it," Arabella was on the verge of a full blown panic. Gripping the seat until her fingers turned stark white, "I lived my life, and it's over. I spent more than half my life locked away and afraid of people and here I am with a complete stranger and I'm about to die." Her grip didn't lighten, but she turned to the stranger, "are you okay? You don't look so good," his face was paling and she could see beads of sweat start to form. Lifting a hand, Arabella placed a cold hand on his forehead, he probably needed the coolness.
