The party was being held at one of the rich kids mansions from the year above them and the place was crowded, "come on ruby" she smirked, grabbing her hand and running towards the nearest alcohol supply but she quickly stopped when Hunter got in her way and she groaned. "I'll give you guys a minute and get you a drink," she said before passing Hunter and heading to the table of drinks where she grabbed two shots and downed them straight away.

Hunter saw Ruby walking in with Maddie and practically pounced on her the moment he good, "thanks sexy," he said to Maddie, clearly already a few drinks in. "baby its so good to see you." he smirked, his eyes gazing along her, "jesus that is one short dress, is there meant to be more material somewhere or?" he said questioning her entire outfit choice.

Ryan had pulled a leather jacket on top of his tight fitting burgundy shirt and he couldn't lie, he looked pretty darn good. He was incredibly nervous but it took only moments for Clara to come hurrying towards Dante and himself, but before she was in ear shot he turned to his friend and asked, "you still alright with me trying to hook up with her? " he was always worried about upsetting his bestie in some way.

dante had his new jeans on, along with a light blue polo shirt tucked in, he new Gucci belt slithered around his waist to add to his look and finally, a pair of suede loafers. He felt good, and eyes were on him, so that was always a positive. He'd turned up a little earlier with Ryan and brought along a load of beer with them, though it wasn't barrels they'd bandaged to get their hands on sixteen cases of beer, and it was safe to say they were in the good books. "Go for IT my man, make me proud. I'm gonna lay low tonight." He patted his arm and walked off giving him some alone time with Clara.

Clara had drank far too many blue wkds before the party and was already a little wasted, her eyes not really focusing and her steps all over the place. The gigantic high heels on her feet probably didn't help, either. Stumbling over to Ryan, she raised both eyebrows when Dante left, but stuck around anyway. "So what happened to those barrels you promised me, huh?" She held up the bottle of Budweiser that was in her hand, her other hand resting on the top of his arm.

Maddie hoovered around for a little before spotting Dante wondering over towards the bar, "you look like you need a shot," she laughed, hanging him one before taking another herself. Now three shots in she field a lot more relaxed in this party enviornment. She had put contact lenses in for the night so she didn't have to mess around with glasses. Back in her early days of partying she would come home every night with something wrong with her glasses so she gave up wearing them entirely.

Ryan analysed Clara quickly, she looked drunk already... great. "They are in the garden waiting for you to bless them with your presence." he grinned, putting his arm around her waist to keep her close and also to stop her from falling over because she looked anything but stable in those heels. " you are looking gorgeous tonight Clara." he said with a gentle smile, trying to make all the right comments.

What he would give to have her whispering his name as his lips glided.. he was getting ahead of himself again. "Something like that, I'm giving your brother space, he's getting on really well with Clara, even if it's nothing serious at least it'll give him some confidence." He turned his head, finally looking down at her. Taking the shot and downing it, he nodded in agreement. "Definitely needed that." He couldn't keep his eyes off her.

Clara giggled as she felt his arm wrap around her and moved in, her skinny little barely there body pressed to him in an awkward way but at that moment it was the least of her worries. "Well then show me the way, ry ry." She cooed in his ears skign a big swig from the bottle in her hands she followed him outside, taking long strides in her heels, the hand free from a bottle clinging to his shirt. Her cheeks growing a crimson colour to match her hair. "Well you look handsome. You should wear this shirt more often."

Maddie couldn't help admiring Dante, it's like over the last few months he became ten times more attractive and it made seeing him all the time frustrating. "now you have some explaining to do because you see, I've been getting these messages from someone I'm pretty close too." a little smirk crossing her lips as the alcohol flew around her system and the music seemed to get louder and louder. She glanced around, not able to see her brother at all which was comforting for her nerves.

Ryan cringed a little at the nickname he had already been given but he shrugged it off, "follow me" he replied, leading the way outside into the backgarden where it was much quieter than inside the main house. He kicked his foot against one of the barrels, "here you go princess, and it's all yours." he smiled a little more when she complemented him, "why thank you. I picked it out especially for you."

Dante let the beer flow inside his body and he could feel his confidence building, even if it had anywhere to grow, that was. He moved a little closer and tucked just a couple of her strands of hair behind her ear, letting his eyes search her face for a second. No glasses, it transformed her face. It made her look much more sophisticated. "Oh yeah? Sounds like a pretty good guy to me, I'd just shack up with him now if I were you." He movedntheir bodies in closer. "I told Ryan I was gonna look after you for the night.. make sure you don't get into any trouble. Innever mentioned I'd be the trouble."

Clara's face lit up, seeing the giant mass of beer in front of her, as if it was the best thing that had ever been invented. "And you did all this? That's so cool ry ry." She grabbed his face with both her hands, her bottle smoothing against his cheek slightly, and gave him a kiss, before letting go and heading to the barrel, picking up the tap that was attached she held it to her mouth and squirted it in. Turning back timhim, she smirked. "Shows off your body. Me likely, meeeoooow." She said, her hands up like claws. I'm her eyes, it was sexy.

Ryan could taste the stink of beer on her lips, the kiss felt uncomfortable and wet but he tried to return it just a little so she didn't feel uncomfortable. He felt a full body cringe when she meowed at him, what the hell had he signed up for. "you enjoy that kitty cat, I'll nip in and grab a drink for myself. Don't wonder off too far." he chuckled, turning around and heading into the kitchen, jesus christ he thought to himself as he stepped indoors, "ruby thank GOD" he said, moving over to her, "I just got meowed at... meowed?! is that a new way of flirting that nobody told me about?"

Dante stepped forward as soon as she stepped back, not once letting space come between them. That would be dangerous. "I've thought about this for weeks to be honest, mads. Ever since you started messaging me I've not exactly managed to stop thinking about you and it's driving me insane." Resting his hand on the top of her arm. "I imagine you'll be more than difficult and that excites me the most. Because me and you. Our hot bodies together.. well fuck, that's a miracle." He smirked, raising his left eyebrow.

Clara pouted as he walked off from her. "Don't be too long my love!" She called out to him, turning back to the barrel, she shrugged her shoulders and knelt down on the grass next to it, and instead of filling up the cup, she cut the middle man out and simply drank from the tap of it, gargling the liquid. She was drunk as a skunk.

Maddie tried to remain calm, cool and collected. Plenty of boys had tried to flirt with her and she found them so easy to shrug off but it was completely different when it came to someone she actually liked. "You should watch what you say Dante, don't want to be too inappropriate in public." She smiled at him before giggling softly, "perhaps we should find a quieter spot, unless you want to hang around this drinks table all night long"

Dante could practically feel the metaphorical barrier breaking and it sent electricity running through every single vein that belonged in his body. "I couldn't give a damn at this moment in time, no one knows what's going on, but maybe we should, just in case.." he said suggestively, his voice smooth and low. His hand slid down her arm until his hand rested in hers. He felt a shudder down his spine. What the hell was this feeling? "Lead the way." He commented, following her through the house, glancing back behind him now and again to ensure that Ryan was no where in sight. Thank god clara was an absolute weirdo when she was drunk.

Hunter had been standing at the doorway for a few minutes, observing Ruby with Ryan. She was laughing, something that did not happen often between the pair anymore. "what the fuck was all that about Ruby?" he raised his eyebrow slightly, taking his drink out of her hand and taking a big gulp. "was he trying to get it on with you?" he moved closer, looking down on her with a stern eye.

Maddie did not say too much more as she lead him through the house, up two flights of stairs and into one of the large bedrooms, once they were inside she locked the door and turned around to look at him. "who would of guessed, Dante the greatest most loyal best friend, would go to all this length to break the sacred rules set out before him." she turned away from him and plopped herself down on the bed, giving off a sigh of relief, "feels great getting off my feet for a bit anyway, these heels are killer." she laughed, kicking them off of her feet and wiggling her toes around for a moment or two.

it felt like the smile was punched from rubys lips, the look of pure anger covering Hunter, gulping for air, she took a moment, what the hell xould have happened in those ten minutes that made him so frustrated. She took a sip of her own drink, a very strong vodka and lemonade, the burn down her throats bringing a blush to her cheeks. Baffled at his outburst, she was a little taken aback. "I.. uh.. what? No it was nothing like that.. me and him.. its just friends, that's all.." the look in his eye making Ruby feel as if she was about 10 inches tall.

Dante closed the door quietly behind him. It was a result, and a far better one than he ever expected. There was a guilt pulling at him, of course there was. He didn't want to ruin his friendship, Ryan had been the only person to stand by him no matter what and he really admired that. But something about Maddie just called out to Dante and it was as I felt his mind just couldn't function any longer. "Well as long as he doesn't find out, everything can stay just peachy. It's more fun that way, too." He admitted, heading over to where she was, he leaned his body in so that her torso lay back, a hand either side of her shoulders.

He grabbed a hold of her and marched her back into the kitchen, shutting the door that lead into the rest of the house and blocking it by propping a chair underneath the handle, "you seriously think you can take me for a fool Ruby?! you hung out with him at lunch as well. Thats why you want to go round to Madisons house so badly isnt it?! So that you can spend alone time with him. " his anger was rising, fists tightening.

Maddie looked up at him once he got closer, there were definitely butterflies inside of her at this point. This was the closest he had been in a long time and she was terrified yet excited all at once. For a moment she thought she might actually kiss him right there and then but something made her stop, "I'm scared." she admitted to him, "I don't want to hurt my brother yet every time I see you I can't seem to take my eyes off you.. why couldn't you of stayed ugly." she said with a weak laugh.

She squirted more intonher mouth before resting it down, rubbing her forehead with her hand gently. "Hmm I think that's enough of that for now.. I don't want to completely forget about you." Her hands perched on top of his shoulders, her face close to his.

Dante could feel her breath, the rise and fall of her chest practically pushing him away each time. Her perfume lingered and her eyes, they glimmered. And right there, right then, he couldn't think of anything bad, of any reaso why he would ever want to make this bad or ruin it. What the hell was he feeling? Their lips hesitated for a wile but he soon backed his body off and took her hand, now stood once more while she was still perched on the edge of the luxurious bedding. "If this isn't what you want, Maddie, just let me know. Your brother means the world to me, and you kind of do too. But if this doesn't feel right just tell me and I'll go." He squeezed her hand before letting go.

Ryan had just began to feel comfortable with Clara, perhaps she was not as bad as he first thought. "I don't think I could forget about you." he said softly, smiling into her eyes before getting distracted from what he could see happening in the kitchen. His eyes widened when hunter hit Ruby and his body jerked, "I'm sorry I need to go and help my friend. " he turned to Clara and kissed her forehead softly, "please take care of yourself ok." he lifted her up off of him and sat her ontop of the barrel before rushing inside. "Get the hell away from her Hunter, you sick fuck. How dare you. " he stood beside Ruby, protectively standing over her.

Did he just chose not to kiss her? Maddie thought to himself, watching as Dante stopped himself from moving too fast. They were very similar in nature when it came to 'releationships', they had never been in long committed relationships and the longest was probably a few months. "no.." she said, reaching her hand out to hold his arm, "I just want to be sure before we do anything.. yaknow? I " she paused, blushing a little bit, "I want this to be more than just a fling.,.. ya'know? It feels like it deserves to be more." she said softly, swallowing.
