"it makes for a pretty neat party trick." a smirk came over his face, at the end of the day, Nathan did love to fool around. He winked at Elijah as he waltzed out onto the dance floor and over to Elizabeth, sliding his arm around her waist, "come along now there are better people to talk to than them, like me." he smirked, looking over her head to the real Elijah and winking.

Drake grinned wider than before, "excellent," he said as they headed back to the booth with their drinks. He leaned more on the table now, much closer to her face, "I like the sound of that, haven't had a dance at all tonight. Couldn't let that dance floor go to waste without seeing the two most attractive people in here grace it." he chuckled, taking a big swig from the glass, "oh really? I hope it isn't too strong that you can't handle it." his voice trailed off but he had a cheeky look in his eyes as his hand rested on hers once again. "I'm glad I came over here tonight Maia, you have been such a pleasure and I hope that even after tonight we could continue meeting.."

Steven had his hands all over Elizabeth's body, he was sure there wasn't a single inch of end skin that he hadn't touched by that point. Pulling her just a little closer his lips went in for the grab of hers, yet he was very suddenly and rudely stopped by some imbecile that was now in his way. "Excuse me," he exclaimed, pushing nathijah in the chest. "But I think you've got the wrong woman. SHE is with ME." he warned.

Maia could almost feel his soft minty breath hitting her face, goodness, even that felt like a dream to her. Why was she so head over heels? She had no idea. But drake had her wrapped around his little finger already, hook, line and sinker. "Oh don't worry, I can handle my drink. I'm just not sure how you will be able to handle me once I've had a drink." Her voice was coy and sexy as she tried her best to stay cool with him, flirting her way to success. "Well I would really love that. I'm not sure if Nathan gave you my number earlier but uhm.. maybe I could take yours now just in case?" She pulled Hernandez phone from her clutch bag.

"though I will say that guy has a temper."

Drake watched as the affects of her alcohol began to hit her a bit more, "oh I'm sure I can handle you princess, and I'll make sure you get home safe and sound as well." he said with a smile, before reaching out for her phone, "of course you can," he typed in his number and clicked on the picture bit for his contact, living her phone up and taking a quick selfie before handing it back to her. "just so you know who it is that's calling you, don't want you to forget me any time soon." he chuckled, standing up and putting out his hand for her, "lets dance".

Elijah's eyes widen and he put his hand to his forehead, cringing as he watched it all go terribly wrong. This Nathan guy though, he was hilarious. And very genuine, he could already feel his aura. Letting his laugh cool off, he chimed their glasses together and took a big swig. "Well now I'm definitely in trouble with mr boss man over there but god, to watch that, it was so worth it. As if she thought it was me." He began laughing again, though his mind began to wander. What would she have done if he did make a move?

Maia ran her manicured nails through the curled ends of her Fire orange hair, her smile growing by the second as she stared up in awe at him. "Somehow I don't think I'll be forgetting you any time soon." She really couldn't believe it. Was he actually genuinely falling for her? This was a dream come true. "I'm right behind you!" She cooed, standing up and taking his hand, taking lots of little quick steps to keep up with him, bashing against him gently as they came to a stand still. "Oops, sorry. You'll have to forgive my clumsiness."

Drake walked out to the dance floor, making eye contact with some of his fellow vampire friends and smirking at them a little, but so Maia couldn't see, "I'm glad, because you will be permanently on my mind Maia," once they made it onto the dance floor he wrapped his arm around her and let them fade into the middle of a large group of people, "there is no need to apologise princess, your clumsiness is very cute." he moved his free hand underneath her chin and gently rubbed along the side of her neck and into her hair.

Maia spotted Nathan on the other side of the floor and wiggled her fingers at him as a little hello, before turning her attention back to drake. He was much taller than she had first realised, and his frame so much wider too. Her arms winding around his neck, she swayed along to the music, Hernandez hips moving in time to the beat, keeping herself on her toes to keep steady as she did so. The flush in her cheeks brightening she looked away for a moment before back at him, hesitating at first and then slowly, ever so slowly. Her lips reached his.

Drake went in for a kiss, using one arm to support her waist and the other to brush through her hair. They stayed like that for a few minutes before he let their lips separate and he couldn't help but smile down at her, "you are incredible Maia." he said sweetly into her ear, letting his hand fall from her hair and continued to sway in time to the music for a little while. It didn't take long for one of his friends to approach and whisper something into Drake's ear, he turned to Maia, "ah my friends are saying they have set up camp in the private suite, lets go." he said with a smile, taking hold of her hand.

taking the kiss as a go ahead, he let his hands slide along her thighs and up her dress, his lips becoming desperate and needy, there was no stopping Steven. Well there was, and Elijah had very bad timing when it came to the bro code. Clenching his jaw, he pulled his lips away from Elizabeth and glared over. "Listen mate, take the hint, she ain't interested in a weakling like you, so crawl back to whatever hole you came from, and I'll take it from here alright?"

Maia raised up onto her tip toes to meet his lips a little better, letting her hands resume their position on his chest, her mouth curving into the biggest of smiles, the cat that got the cream some would say. "You can talk, you have no idea how long over wondered about doing that.. ten times better than I could have ever imagined." Turning her head to where the rooms were, she took a hold of his hand and followed him to the back of the building, her fingers laced with his she kept her eyes up high, taking in all of the small details, the luxurious decor. She was in for a treat. "How did you manage a private suite?"

Elizabeth was more or less in a world of her own until she heard the ever so relaxed voice of Elijah break the sound of kissing. Steven moved away from her and her eyes wondered over to Elijah, "Is it actually you this time?" she said with a soft chuckle before raising her brow at Stevens comment. "offt you hear that E? I think you've just been relieved of your duties tonight." She pulled her dress back down properly before moving away from Steven ever so slightly to pull out another cigarette and light it up again, taking a slow puff from it.

Drake held onto her to ensure she stayed upright and close to him, he pushed open the door to the private suite where a few of his friends were dotted about in different corners but for the most part it was quiet and a lot more personal than the dance floor, "well since this is my party I thought hiring out the private suite would be rather fitting for when it was time too... escape the hustle and bustle of the main area. A lot of sweaty bodies out there now." he chuckled, letting her sit down on a two seater love sofa which was black with beautiful upholstery.

Maia looked over her shoulder one last time, her eyes scanning the room one last time for Nathan but she could no longer see him. A small sigh left her lips, was she getting in too deep? All she wanted was a friendly chat and a dance but now things were moving at extreme speeds and she was in a much quieter place with him, the music lower, and all his friends seemed very intimidating at that point. "Well I guess you're right, it was getting a bit sticky out there." She sat down with him, her fingertips running down the arm of the plush sofa she was sat in, crossing her legs over.

Drake wrapped his arm around her shoulders, starting to not even listen to what was coming out of her mouth. At this point, he had her where he wanted her, in a quiet place where he trusted everyone around him. He leaned closer into her to whisper into her ear, "you really are beautiful, and you smell.. incredible." as he finished the last word and instantly dug his fangs into her neck and began sucking her blood, holding her firmly.

Maia took a drink from him and took a couple of sips. Maybe some Dutch confidence was exactly what she needed. Leaning into his body she inhaled his sweet aftershave, her eyes closing, she felt her body relax back into the chair, her hand resting on his thigh. "Thank yo...." she never managed to finish her sentence, instead a blood curdling scream fell from her mouth as a red hot pain seared through her body, shivers running up and down her spine as she tried her very best to push drake off of her, but it was no use. He was easily double her weight and strength, she didn't have a single chance of escaping.

He locked eyes with Maia and said in a gentle, "thank you very much Maia," he said with a soft smile as he ran his fingers along her neck to clean up the remainder of the blood. Some of his friends were laughing in the corner of the room and cheering at him, as if he had just conquered what he had wanted to for the night, " now you won't tell anyone about our little secret will you Maia?" he said in an authoritative voice.

Nathan had ended up sitting in a booth talking to a group of people he knew from class, checking his phone he decided to shoot Maia a message, hey, I'm not sure if you've left or not but let me know when you get back to your dorm safely alright? he hovered over the send button before hitting it and standing up to go back over to the bar.

How could he betray her, for once in her life she had been kind, and treated him with respect, and this is how he repaid her? "I hope you rot in hell." She hissed, picking her bag up from next to her, her whole body shaking. Pulling her phone out, she looked down at it and quickly slid it open, pressing dial on Nathan's name, praying he'd hear the conversation between the two.

Nathan felt his phone vibrating in his pocket and pulled it out, seeing Maia's name glowing he couldn't help but smile just a little bit, he answered the call immediately and put it to his ear. He shouted, rather loudly down the phone, "hey ! I just messaged you, where you at?" he was hoping she could hear him and he tried to move towards a quieter spot of the club so that he could hear her response down the phone.
