I remembered the chains they had locked me up in. I was alone even then, other than the occasional person coming down to torture me. It wasn't until I had figured out how to pick a lock with my nails that I had finally escaped. I looked at his silvery eyes once more, then retreated to another part of the cave, wishing to run from my past and all of my dreaded memories.
