Serenity felt a familiar hand against her waist, lifting her heavy eyes to see Mat's familiar face. He looked pretty unhappy, was that because someone else was trying to get with her? "where have you been?" she said before nodding her head gently at the idea of going home.
The man that was trying to take Serenity looked pretty pissed off, "maybe you should take better care of her then." he crossed his arms over his chest for a moment as he looked at the guy, it took a few minutes but then it clicked that he recognised this guy. "You are that guitarist from that shitty band that was playing last night aren't you?" he started to laugh a bit, "everyone knows you two aren't really together. but clearly you can't stand the idea of someone else with her. What an idiot." he rolled his eyes and turned around and walked back into the club in hopes of getting some other chick.
Serenity felt a sick feeling rush through her, moving away from Mat towards the wall which she put her hand against as she vomited, probably the best for her as well since it would likely get the pill out of her system. Once done, she wiped her mouth a little before looking at Mat again, "thank you.."

He looked at the guy and shook his head ''Dicks like you shouldn't be taking advantage of her. Or trying to. And don't act like you know shit about us. She's my girlfriend and that's why I can't stand the thought of her being with someone else. Do all the women in the club and piss off because they don't want creeps like you around.'' he said as he led Serenity away. ''I'm so sorry princess, I didn't realise what he had done until it was too late.'' he said as he stroked her back softly as she was sick. ''You're more than welcome princess. I wish I could have punched him, how dare he try to do that to you. Are you ok? did he do anything to you?'' he asked as he grabbed his phone and called his driver to come and get them. ''We're going back to my place.'' he said. He had never taken her there as he wasn't sure of how he felt and he wanted to keep his place private but he was sure now and he wanted to take her there to make sure she was ok. Once the car was there he took her hand and helped her into the car.

I tried to text you from the bathroom but I guess I had no reception." she said with a little bit of an embarrassed laugh. Once he was off the phone she looked at him a little funny, "your place? I don't mind going back to mine.. I'm sure I'll be fine now he's gone." He had never taken her to his house. At first he would make up all these ridiculous excuses so she just gave up asking to go there and her small crappy apartment became their get together spot. "did you mean what you said to him..?"

I saw him put something in your drink but I wasn't too sure what it was and then by the time I was going to come over you had already drunk it. I'm glad I saw you leaving with him though so I could stop you. It makes me feel sick to think of what he could have done to you.'' he said as he got into the car. He shook his head ''No princess, we're going to my place.'' he said as he gave her a smile. He nodded ''If you want to be.. because I really really like you Serenity and I'm sorry it's taken me so long to realise it. I find myself not wanting to leave you after we've been together and I miss you when we aren't together. I like you a lot and if you would want to then I would love for you to be mine, for real.'' he said as he watched her, a nervous look on his face.

I'm not obligated to marry any other form of royalty. In fact I can marry whom ever I like. Although I would need my mothers permission. But whom ever I wed will earn their own title, and then of course Queen one day." he said softly to her. "so do not be afraid about falling for me, because I think I have already fallen for you." he said as he felt his cheeks go a little bit pink as he blushed. "and I am so grateful that you are here for the real me. I cannot explain how much warmth that brings to my heart."

Serenity's eyes went wide when he said the guy had put something in her drink, "do you think he was trying to drug me? what a vile creator." she muttered as she got into the car alongside him ."I'm just glad you saw him take me out, because I was beginning to go quite numb actually now I think about it." she put her seat belt on before looking at him as he spoke. She could tell it was coming from his heart rather than just nonsense to make her feel better after what just happened. "of course I want to be Mat. I've liked you, a lot, since very early on. I just never wanted to admit that in case you would want rid of me for someone else. You could have anyone you wanted, someone successful. I'm just some girl that can't even take care of herself.."

Ryan slipped his hand into hers as she talked, it just seemed so natural to do. "well the same goes for you, I want you to be yourself around me. Don't feel like you have to change or try to be more than you are. I want you to continue being my map with legs ok?" he said with a soft chuckle, thinking in his mind 'my map with sexy legs' but decided not to say that out loud as it might ruin the moment. His grin grew when she said that he had fallen for him as well. Before Indie, he would never have believed in love at first sight. yet here they are, their second day spent together and they already felt so close. He nodded his head at her final question. "A lot of wealthy people thrust their daughters in my direction, and it is quite sad actually. So many girls have lied to me just because they want a title or money or even just publicity. That's why I try to go out by myself, really dress down and go to areas of the country that I'll be less recognisable. So that I can find real and honest woman like you."

Mat nodded "I think he was trying to take advantage of you in some way and its disgusting. I should have done something when I saw him put it in b I didn't want to accuse him of doing it when it Might not have been. I'm sorry he did that to you though." he said as he squeezed her hand gently. "Go numb? what the duck was that thing? Creep. I'm so mad st myself, I should have come over. I wanted to I just didn't know if you wanted me to interupt or not." He said as he ran a hand through his hair. Mat shook his head "I've always liked you princess, always. I just never realised how much until now. But your right, i could have anyone but i want you. Just you because you my princess are brilliant. You can support yourself, you have a place of your own and you take you care of yourself. I do have one question for you though." He said as he but his lip "Plesde don't take this the wrong way, I just want to protect myself that's all in a way. You know how you first started being around me and the guys for publicity snd stuff? Is that why you like me or do you like me for me?" He asked "I just want to know because I really want you to like me for me because it would be crap if you didn't." he said as he glanced over st her, a nervous look on his face.

Ryan listened to her as she spoke, realising that she could go home at any time. He felt a moment of panic rush through him, if he messed up she could easily hope on a plane and be gone from his life. That seemed extremely scary. He had never felt this comfortable with someone since he was a kid and didn't understand rules and responsibility. He found himself lose track of what she was saying as he went off into a world of panic. When she mentioned getting something to eat he snapped back into reality, "of course! What would You like? We can eat here or go out to a restaurant. Anything. It's completely your choice beautiful." he said with a caring smile as he moved some strands of her hair away from her gorgeous eyes.

I got up and was a bit worried to find out who you were so I just threw on what ever and left. I honestly thought you were some sort of gang member." She laughed.

mat nodded. He was still annoyed with himself but he didn't want to make her mad after what had happened. He couldn't help but smile a little as he listened to her. "Im sorry your ex did that to you, that awful. But im glad that liz helped you out and gor r you on your feet again. And thats brilliant, I was just a bit worried that you didn't actually want to be with me for me although j don't know why I would have thought that because you aren't the type of person to do that." he said as he kissed her cheek "But I love everything about you too, beautiful. I love how you can make me laugh and smile. I love how you are so kind to everyone. I love how you made me feel love ahain when I thought I was too broken to feel love. I love you." he said softly as he looked down at her. It was true, he loved her with all his heart.

Serenity felt her heart begin to rush as he started using love over and over again. It made everything just feel that bit more real, although she was pretty determined it was all still a dream. "In my eyes, you were never broken. If anything, you were the missing piece that made me whole." as the car slowed down she gazed out of the window at the house they had stopped outside. "this is your place?" she said softly as she looked towards him, beginning to feel a sore head come on from all the alcohol she had consumed during the evening.

Mar at smiled softly as she spoke. And once they had pulled up outside of his house he took his seat belt off and turned to face her. He cupped her face in his hands and stroked her cheek gently "You are the missing piece that fixed me, Serenity. I haven't felt like this for anyone in a long long time and in glad it's you in feeling this way for. I love you." He said softly as he leaned forwards and pressed his lips against hers in a loving and passionate kiss. He pulled away and nodded "it is princess. come on, let's get you to bed." He said as he scooped her up in his arms and carried her inside.
