Ruby could feel the anger in her, the anger that was sadly hidden by complete fear as hunters face turned into a wild beast before her, helping as his rough hand collided with her skin, and she had to use every amount of control she had in her body to not fall into a bunch of tears. Her face stinging and redness showing up with immediate effect. "You're a coward and a bully, you don't know how to treat me, that's why I NEVER act around you like that." Taking a deep breath, some tears now rolling down her hot face. "Ryan you don't need to get involved." Realising at that moment just how god damn tall he was.

Hunger pulled his hand away quickly, staring down at her, the feeble woman in front of him. That was more like it, wonthe hell did she think she was, standing up to him and trying to lie to him? He could see the truth, he could see the lie in her eyes. Wiping his mouth with the back of his hand, he grabbed Ryan by the dollar of his shirt. "You.. YOU." He yelled in his faces slamming him to the wall. "You fucking messed with my girlfriend, you like her, huh? Well you're welcome to my sloppy seconds, you deserve each other." Before swiftly throwing a punch to his nose.

Dante couldn't quite believe what he was doing, how he seemed to care for her every action and that in reality, he wanted this a lot more than he was willing to admit. And he wanted a lot more from it, too. His lips turning upwards as her delicate touch landed against him, he stepped closer, lifting both hands so that his fingers tangled into her hair, his palms resting in the sides of her face. "I've never felt the same so much. I don't just want this to be tonight, I want this to be a forever. Well. Until you get fed up of me.." his innocent smile lifted more into a smirk, his face moving just a little bit closer to hers. His mouth was dry, his Adam's apple bobbing up and down. He was just as nervous as she was.

Maddie was lost in his eyes, were they always this dreamy? She wasn't quite sure. "I have an idea." she said softly, her voice so gentle as to not break the harmony that was forming between them. "take me out on a date, and then maybe I'll consider giving you what I know you want right now." she said, tracing her index finger gently along his bottom lip. "if it doesn't work out nobody will ever have to know," she paused, gazing back up into his eyes for just a moment, "deal?" she asked, pressing her lips together as she moved her hand to gently stroke his cheek. Perhaps this was a bad idea? What if he bailed on her? Decided that all he wanted was a quick fling once he sobered up?

Ruby let out a helping as hunters fist collided with Ryan and she quickly grabbed onto his shirt, pulling at it. "Hunter get off him he hasn't done anything wrong you're being stupid now!" But her voice was weak and he wasn't listening. A single moment of tranquility as Ryan pushed him away and they all stood there, staring at one another in some sort of ultimatum smackdown. It felt bizarre. Her eyes locking to his as he walked away, rubbing against where his hand had just been laid. Waiting for the front door to closer before she rushed over to Ryan and wrapped her arms around him, as tight as possible, letting a few more hot tears drop down her face. Her eyes shut tight.

Dante was intrigued. Interested. And more than anything, a teenager so used the brain in his pants to think, not his head. So, when Maddie came to a decision, it felt like someone had grasped him and squeezed him as tightly as possible. "Mads you're killing me here.." a small laugh left his lips, his eyes gazing up and down her face, from those gorgeous eyes that bore a hole into his soul, to those luscious pink lips that he literally could never stop thinking about. "A date, is that what you want? Deal. I don't know how that makes any of this easier seeing as I'm never supposed to be around you. But you at least have to give me a kiss.. let me know what I'm in for." He suggested. Edging his face in closer.

Perhaps that will be the proof I need to know you are serious about wanting me rather than me simply being another girl to add to your collection." she moved a little closer to him, her lips almost grazing against his, "a kiss huh?" she smiled, letting her hand slip behind his head and leaning in as if to kiss him, before moving to the side at the last minute to kiss his cheek and whisper in his ear, "you will have to try harder to get a kiss from me Dante"

Dante leaned her back again slowly, his lips hovering over hers. At any second he could have had her right there right then, had no respect at all. But he didn't. He worshipped every bone in her bod and he wasn't about to wreck that just for one sleazy night that wouldn't mean anything to anyone. "Well youve been climbing out your bedroom window since you were 12 so I can always learn how to climb into it after our date." His grin broadened, one hand supporting him so that his body didn't collapse over hers the other cupping the side of her face, his lips a millimetre away and yet still.. no kiss. "Find. But you're missing out just as much as I am." He teased standing back up, he pushed some hair from his face. Feeling a little flustered he pulled at the material of his jeans, clearing his throat. "Fancy gettin one more drink then?"

Maddie rolled her eyes and couldn't help but laugh, "I'm sure you can also learn to hide under my bed if it comes down too it." she smiled over at him, thinking about the time when they were younger when he caught her climbing out of her bedroom one night because he was hiding in their garden having a cigarette. They ended up both hiding out in the rain laughing for a few hours before heading back inside. "yes, I would love another drink." she said as she rose to her feet, pulling her skirt back down to a modest length and slipping her heels back on. "maybe I'll have a few more so you have to help me home, you know, since you are taking care of me and keeping me out of trouble tonight." she said with a giggle as she headed out of the bedroom and back down the stairs.

Dante ringed back at the memory, opening the bedroom door he let her slide through, following her out abruptly, he bumped into her. Most definitely by accident. His hand accidently colliding with her bum. By accident. "Oops." A more sly grin shone from his face as he followed her down the stairs, now keeping just a little distance. No eyes were on them, no one even batted an eyelid. Thank god. "Maybe you could come to my house for our date. I could cook you a real good meal, fill you up then cook you. Like hansel and Grettel." He whispered to her, going over to the kitchen, to get through to the green, where their barrels were placed. Raising both eyebrows, spotting ruby sat down, and Ryan with just a couple of drops of bloody spotting from his nose. "Did ruby do this to you?!" He asked.

Ryan shook his head, "don't you even dare say that was your fault Ruby, it is certainly not your job to calm him down. He is old enough to know how to be sensible." he smiled a little, just wanting to cheer her up after such a shitty ordeal. He quickly glanced out the window, spotting Clara sitting on the barrel with another guy he didn't really recognise from school sitting on the grass beside her, they seemed to be laughing.. at least she was happy. He looked back towards Ruby, "I just wanted to help you." he said before his attention turned to Dante who just came into the kitchen, he laughed nervously, "She wishes, I just managed to walk into a door. Nothing serious." he laughed, not wanting to tell other people about what happened to Ruby incase she wasn't comfortable with it being shared.

Maddie turned to look at him when he touched her, shaking her head a little but smiling none the less, he at least deserved something after risking a lot to spend some alone time with her. She followed into the kitchen behind Dante, a little panic inside her when she saw her brother.. and Ruby? Wait.. thats blood. "what the fuck happened Ryan?" she said, pushing passed Dante to look at her older brother. She moved the towel away from his nose and shook her head, "you are so clumsy I swear, glad you got that family trait instead of me." she turned to Ruby, and in that moment she could instantly tell it wasn't her brother having bad footing. Her friends eyes were puffier than usual, small smears in her foundation just under her eyes. "ruby what happened.."

ruby smiled thankfully at Ryan, glad he wasn't a complete blabbermouth. She wasn't entirely sure she was ready for anyone to actually know her and her amazing footballer boyfriend hadn't broken up but by Monday morning she was damn sure everyone would probably know anyway. Turning her head to Maddie, her shoulders rolled a little, nerves and anxiety crawling up her spine, ready to wrap its hands around her throat, to choke her every word. "It's fine.. me and Hunter had a little disagreement and Ryan tried to stand up for me. You know how hunter gets when he's had a few too many.." she said softly, her teeth resting against her bottom lip. Glancing from Maddie to Dante. Smirking just a little but quickly looking away. She knew her best friend far too well.

Dante rolled his eyes but grinned. "I dunno, first you bust your elbow falling off my skateboard and now this, three is the magic number ain't it?" He crossed his arms over his chest and leaned against the table, sliding one butt cheek on it, balancing himself with one foot on the floor as he glanced around, furrowing his brows. Something wasn't adding up. No one was letting it all slip and it wasn't making sense. "But hunter wouldn't have hit Ryan unless he'd done something wrong, or in his eyes done something wrong anyway." He shook his head, grabbing a beer. "The party is dying down anyway, so at least it's a little bit quieter out there." He took a sip of beer, looking out into the garden, before back at Ryan. "What happened between you two then, anyway? Let her run into another mans arms already?"

Ryan shrugged when dante tryied to dig a little deeper into what happened, not wanting to give anything away that Ruby wasnt going to be comfort with. "either way he looks worse than I do... seriously.." he said, ruffling his hair about in an awkward fashion. "oh Clara?" he said with a little laugh, "well um.. I guess I have lost her to another man now. But she seems nice, I think we might hang out again in the future. " he said with a smile, remembering the nice compliment she gave him earlier and how happy her smile was when she mentioned how well he had been treating her. Perhaps she wasn't as bad as the cat impression made her think she was going to be.

Maddie caught Ruby's small smirk and felt her cheeks flush just a little, looking away, "perhaps we should play a little game then, lighten the mood up." she said with a smile, grabbing a bottle of tequila and resting it on the dinning room table. "we were meant to have fun tonight, not all look gloomy towards the end of the night. if we don't all leave here in a state I will make a formal complaint to he ministry of friendship ! " She giggled softly, placing out four shotglasses and filling each of them up. "now what should we play you cuties?"

So what if her and Ryan were a bit flirty sometimes? It's not like it meat anything. She couldn't get hunter off her mind and it was driving her insane. "Whatever we do, I want to make sure it makes me forget about this evening completely if that's alright." She went and stood with them, picking up a shot glass. "Well, we could play truth or dare. Or never have I ever. Or hide and seek." She smirked, raising her eyebrows. "Or strip poker. Just kidding." She let out a little laugh.

" he gave a wicked grin, "I'll go first; Dante, Truth or Dare?" he said with a cheeky grin on his face. Ryan was definitely a child at heart and had always loved playing games, regardless of if they contained the consumption of alcohol.

Maddie pulled a little face, "I would play strip poker if Ryan wasn't here... but that just makes it weird. " she laughed, downing her own shot before they started playing. Coming into the kitchen to a serious scenario had oddly sobered her up and she wasn't happy about it. She felt her phone gently buzz and when she looked down at the screen it was Professor Knight begging her to come round. She rolled her eyes a little, responding to his message sorry cutie not tonight, I'm at a party x she hit send and slid her phone onto silent as to not be disturbed for the remainder of the evening. Plus, she had much better eyecandy to look at in the form of Dante.

Her best friend always cheered her up, always, even in the worst of situations, even if she was kicked out of home with only the clothes on her back, she was sure Maddie would make it all better. Glancing over at her, she nodded towards her hands. "Speak of the devil.. " she mumbled, running her fingers through the ends of her hair, she glanced at the boys smiling. How Ryan's grin spread across his face, lit up his eyes. He wasn't weaeng his beanie hat, that was unusual. Damn, what was she saying? Shaking her head, she poured herself another shot.

She looked back at Ruby and flashed her a smile, "no one is taking my attention away from you tonight now missy, we are going to be a state and that is perfectly ok." she moved some of her hair behind her ear, gazing over at Dante and making a little 'ooooo' noise, a smirk crossing her lips. Although she was definitely curious to know the answer herself.

It was a well known fact that their teacher was attractive, he was in his very late 20's and was aging like a fine wine, that was for sure. "And then you can drag me back to your house and I can drown my sorrows in your fridge full of cold pizza. Cool." She smiled, tough into didn't fully meet her eyes, and she sipped her short, winding slightly as the liquid burned down her throat. Seeing Ryan's face drop as Dante mentioned Clara, she frowned slightly. Why did she feel so much empathy? Maybe this is what a boy being nice to her made her feel.
