Melanie started to back away from the table when a girl walked over and started to eat like she never had seen food before. “You shouldn’t eat like that”, said she without thinking twice. The girl was still eating which made her shake her head a little. Melanie started to walk to the other side of the table before grabbing a fruit that was green. She then looked at it before taking a bit, the sour flavour tasted familiar but she didn’t know why until she remembered something about the fruit called a Granny Smith apple.

Appearance:
She has long, glossy black hair hanging past her waist, often tied in one or more braids. She is slightly taller than average and has a stark beauty to her. Her lips are full and her skin is fair. Her eyes often attract attention - both are bright and filled with life, but where the left is blue as the sky, her right eye is green as grass. This used to be a big insecurity of hers and as soon as she discovered her powers she changed it, but she is getting more at peace with it now and wears her natural colour as a sign of pride. She is a little curvy but of an athletic, lean built.

Personality:
She has a kind heart and she takes care of those she loves. She trusts easily, but once the trust is broken, it is very hard to get it back. She can be very stubborn and willful. She is a dreamer and the way she has mentally survived the past years is by dreaming herself far away. She believes in doing what is right, even if you put yourself at risk doing so. She frequently uses sarcasm and is a fan of getting things done as easily and efficiently as possible, without too many complications.

Power:
Marie is a shapeshifter and illusionist. She can create any type of illusion she wants, it being on a person or an inanimate object. If the illusion has to be convincing it takes some time and energy to create, but the more often she makes a specific illusion, the easier it becomes. To make a proper illusion, she needs to have skin contact to whatever she wants to anchor it to. However, if it is something just floating in the air that isn't necessary. Normally the illusions aren't solid, except when it is on herself. But, if she really concentrates she can make an illusion come to life for a short period of time. Generally the illusions take some energy and concentration to keep up (though to varying degree) so if she is knocked unconscious they will disappear.

Background:
She grew up the oldest of three children. Her mother died in the catastrophe so she had to grow up quickly and she learned to take care of her family. Her family lived in one of the many refugee camps and they worked hard to get enough food. When she was young she was very small of built and her eyes made her stick out which made her very insecure and she just wanted to be normal. She discovered her powers when one morning she woke and both her eyes were blue. She used her powers a lot to entertain her siblings and she became very good at creating lifelike images.

She didn't get more than a few steps before she stopped, chocked. Her eyes had quickly scanned the room. There was a big table with - a lot - of food, but that wasn't what stopped her. It wasn't that the room was much bigger than any room she had been in either, nor that there weren't any doctors either. No, it was the people standing there. There were many, more than she had ever seen before. She had only ever seen the two guards, a nurse and a doctor. Another strange thing was that they weren't dressed as doctors or guards. In fact, she noticed, they were dressed just like she was, in a white top and loose grey trousers. From what she could see, they acted strange too. Who were they? Everything was so strange. Marie found herself wishing the guards had just brought her her food as usual, even if that meant she had to see the doctor afterwards. At least she would know what would happen. This was much worse.
She turned, wanting to go back, but the guards had closed the door behind her. The only option was to go forward, so she took a few hesitant steps towards the table. And the people standing around it. Were they doctors, in disguise? Doing a new test on her, maybe? She shivered a little, but there was no way out, whatever was going to happen.

Bread was something Noah got everyday, but this bread tasted different. The bread was more filling and more flavorful than she had ever tasted. She heard the door open, turned around and another girl walked into the room. Is there actually more people on this facility? How many people are actually here? The questions was going around in her head, she almost forgot about the food on the table.

Alexandet coutninued to sit quiet for a while. By now he was kind of sure that this was not some wierd trick played by the scientist, altho he was not compleatly sure since it still could be some kind of ilision or likewise, but it didn´t seem likely. He threw one quick look back at the one way mirror before he turned back to the scathered people in the room. He still didn´t trust any of them, but he couldn´t bare the silence and he hoped that he maybe could get some answers out of these strangers. "So, I´m guessing that none of you are scientist in disguise?" he said, a serious question. He didn´t really expect any of them to answer thrutfully, in case they actually was scientist in disguise, but he just felt the need to ask and get the question out in the open.

She leaned her back towards the wall, but her stomach was aching from all the food, she couldn't possibly fit in more. So she stood there, hoarding a bunch of bread in her shirt whilst suspiciously looking at the male who decided to speak up.
