Rosa gasped for air as his hand tightened around her neck, tightening her grip on his arm even though it wasn't helping in any way. "Don't you da--" and before she could finish his fangs pierced the skin on her neck and she let out a scream before it was cancelled out by his hand covering her mouth.

The room fell silently as a blood curdling scream was let loose, the hair on the back of her neck standing as she watched everyone rushing away and shouting. "What the hell.." she mumbled.

Daniel was having a good laugh with Steph until he heard the scream, the smell of angel blood hitting his senses immediately. "Fuck... stay behind me okay!" He followed the scent and when he turned the corner and saw Zaine and the carnage around him. He felt the veins in his body become more intense and he advanced, grabbing Zaines right arm squeezing with his improved strength, "stop Zaine!!"

She stepped back slowly, her eyes closed tight, before she simply turned and ran. Too scared to face it. It wasn't what she was used to and she'd be no help, anyway. Following the crowds, she ran back up to the main school building, her body shaking slightly.

Steph headed back to her dorm, closing the door silently behind her, she slid into her bed and unbuckled her shining shoes resting them down beside her, she turned the Tv on quietly, letting out the deepest of sighs. Taking a moment to compose herself, she slid her dress off over her head and peeled her panties off, pulling on a sweater, she climbed into her bed and grabbed her phone from her clutch bag.

Daniel was hovering uncertainty, he knew what he would have to do. "I can save Her" he paused, walking over to them and kneeling down. "She's right though. Most of these vampires are outlawed even from our community. You might actually be let off for saving her... You know am angels life is important to the courts" he said before biting into his own wrist and getting Rosa to drink up.

Steph turned onto her side, rubbing her eyes. Feeling a little guilty for just bolting at the scene. One of her only friends she had made was lying there helpless and she'd ran away instead of staying and trying to help. Scrolling through her twitter feed, it was filled with endless amounts of comments, Zaine and rosa both being called various names. Quickly closing her screen off, she sat up again, unable to rest.

He dragged four bodies at once, all by separate legs, out of the cabin and chucked them onto the bonfire. The moment the bodies made contact with the flames they crumbled to ash. As he stood watching the fire rise to the sky he decided to pull his phone out and called Steph. He kept mumbling to himself as he waited for her to pick up.

"Hey dan.. how.. how is she?" She finally mumbled, almost in a none existent whisper. Picking up a make up wipe from her desk, wiping her make up off.

"Hey.. she is stunned to say the least." he paused, pacing around the bonfire before finally taking a seat around it. "she was bit however I think I was able to stop the transformation from taking place." he let out a sigh, hanging his head low. "I understand if you don't want to hang around with me and especially if you don't want to be near Zaine.. I can make sure he doesn't even look your way. I'm just glad to hear you are ok."

steph threw the wipe in the bin, resting her phone on the bed she out it into loudspeaker, having to distract herself before the words slipped away and instead the emotions would appear. It was the last thing she wanted. Brushing her hair out, she tied it up in a messy bun on the top of her head, tucking a few stray strands away. "Well that's good to hear, I'm glad she's okay.. well done, D." She said quietly, sitting down on the edge of her bed. Singing quietly, she lay her torso back, staring up at the ceiling. "That's the last thing I want. You haven't done anything wrong.. you were helping. I'm just a shitty mortal who was in the wrong crowd completely. I shouldn't have been there."

Daniel started to move some sand around with his feet as he listened to her voice. "well.. I never got my slow dance with you.." he said softly, " and Anton isn't here so .. think if I stopped by to check on you could fulfil our date?" he bit his lip, hard, knowing he was now being very forward after what just happened. "plus, you ran off before I could say goodbye which is very cheeky of you missy." he got himself to his feet and began walking back to the school. The rest of the beach and cabin was deserted, unsurprisingly.

"So it was a date?" She asked quietly, the smallest of soles appearing on her lips, crossing her legs at her ankles. "Well I guess that would be okay with me, after all I did owe you the slow dance, and it was ever so rude of me to not say goodbye to you. I guess that means I'll have to out some pants on. See you soon, big D" She laughed, hanging up, pulling on some tiny shorts.

"of course it was a date.. unless this was the moment you friendzone me which I would definitely hate." he started to walk a bit quicker back to the school, now excited to see her, "oh no I mean you don't have to put trousers back on.." he chuckled before finishing,"i'll see you soon beautiful." and hung up. He jogged the rest of the way, arriving outside her room five minutes later and he knocked on the door, "it's big D!"
