"no I just.. I don't want you feeling like things have to change at all.. you can still get on with your life and stuff." she bit her lip and tucked some of her hair behind her ears. "i've never been in love before. I never thought I would be. especially not with someone so different to me."

He smiled and shook his head "Things do have to change, I have worked every single day since mine and Maria's honeymoon, I've worked and worked and worked, I want to have a few days off with you. I only worked so I didn't have to deal with my horrid wife." He laughed. He smiled "I'm glad you love me, I couldn't imagine being without you now to be honest. You make me a better man, you know that?"

adelita grinned, her cheeks now bright red, but her tanned skinned from her spanish background hid it quite well, which she was very thankful about. "but if you still want to work so hard you can. I don't want you losing out on money so that we're together all the time. we're still gonna be together and I like how things are right now between us and I don't want them changing." she shrugged and bobbed up and down in the water on her tip toes, smiling a bit. Not that I am old but I always do a lot of things I wouldn't normally do when I'm with you and I like it.'' he said and smiled at her.

"this is meaaaan!" she quickly caught up and then held onto his leg, so she slowed him down and he began to pull her along. she grinned at him, sticking her tongue out, she quickly used this time to swim ahead and win. "really? that's kind of crazy, I would have thought it'd be something you did."

He shook his head ''I didn't get to do much with being married and all, with the baby we lost it pretty far on and then I just threw myself into work to try and forget it, I didn't get much support from Maria, she acted like she was the only affected and I tried being there for her but it didn't work.''

adelita scrunched her nose up. he made her feel so young and loved and on top of the world, it was a good feeling to have. she leaned in to him, frowning a little when she heard what happened. she stroked his chest in a comforting sort of way. "that's so mean of her, i'm so sorry you had to go through that. you would have been a wonderful dad." she rested her hand on the back of his neck and just held onto him for a little while.

xanthe grinned back at her, resting his hands over hers, before sliding his hands back down to his sides, he grabbed some sand and then stuck it down her bikini pants. :3 he burst out laughing, shrugging. "sorry baby, I had to." he quickly sat up and got up, running away from her quickly and into the sea, pulling his sunglasses over his eyes. he was so happy to be able to chill out with her.

adelita pulled away eventually, not quite so keen on the cuddling as he was, but she tolerated it. she kissed him a couple more times and then took his hands. "one day, maybe." but she really didn't ever think she'd be fit to be a mom, which made her sad. it would mean he'd have to move on from her, and settle down with someone else. she smiled up at him when he spoke to her again, and nodded. "I feel the same. you're pretty wonderful."
