Mila laughed quietly. "You're cute as well Ryan. I mean she kind of has your nose but in a much cuter and smaller way." She was trying not to get too attached to this baby, she didn't want it to be weird and plus she was cute right now, while she wasn't making any noise but what about when she was screaming and crying st 3am? That wouldn't be cute at all. "We aren't gonna let her do that. You have a home, and a job, and you love this little girl so much already, there's no way she'd be stupid enough to rip it all from you." She used her thumb to very lightly stroke Grace's hand.

Ryan looked down at baby Graces nose, tilting his head slightly trying to see the similarities, "I'm not sure I'd say her nose is at least an eleven out of ten," he let out a small sigh, she was so peaceful right now but he knew things were going to become much tougher. In a low voice he spoke, glad that Kelly wasn't in the room, "You don't know what Kelly is like, she's manipulative .. cunning.. I just hope she doesn't use Grace as a bargaining chip to try and get what she wants out of me."

Mila couldn't not help but laugh. "You're nose is at least an eight out of ten so we aren't doing too bad." She teased, letting her finger away from the baby's hold and dropping it back down to her side, looking around the room. Hospitals were so weird, she was just glad Kelly hadn't kicked up a stink about her coming to visit too. "Like what, what would she want from you?" She frowned a little, looking up at him, she pulled her phone out. "Shall I take a photo for you?"

"first thing she said when she found out she was pregnant is that it was a reason for us to stay together, so I wouldn't put it past her to try and make that a reality. But before you worry, I'm not interested in her at all anymore." he smiled a little brighter as she suggested a photo, "yes please!" and he shuffled back a little to pose for a few photos. The first of many with Grace.

Mila pulled a face, frowning slightly. She'd almost forgotten about that but it all came flooding back. Kelly would always want him back, he was the father of her child and he would always have to see her. But he gave her that reassurance and she plastered a smile back onto her faces stepping away from him to take a picture. "I'm so proud of you Ryan, you've just.. took everything life has thrown at you and it hasn't bothered you at all." She hesitated before asking her next question. "Could I hold her?" She asked quietly.

Ryan could tell that she was starting to overthink, he could tell by the little expression on her face but she tried to look happy and he knew here wasn't the place to get into a big discussion. "I'm trying not to let it bother me but trust me I am absolutely terrified." he chuckled, watching as she put her phone away and he was surprised she asked, he thought she might have felt uncomfortable holding her, "of course you can." he said as he moved close to her and passed over the precious cargo.

Mila wasn't going to bring any more up, they could talk about this once they were back home or something so instead she sat herself on the edge of the bed so she was a bit more secure and then as he passed her over, she very carefully took the little baby, staring down at her once she had her. This was crazy, how the he'll was she being trusted with this tiny life in her arms. She was so light and she had that new baby smell which people raved about, and she kind of understood it. But Grace began to wiggle and then cry and Mila began to panic.

Ryan found the image of Mila holding his baby possibly the most adorable things on the planet but the moment was quickly popped when Grace made for a little wriggle and then started to cry. Chuckling a little he went over and gently stroked Graces head and went "shhh it's okay," and Grace calmed down and was peaceful once more. Lifting his head he looked at Mila and smiled, "you look rather cute holding her you know," he pressed a gentle kiss to Mila's head before they were interrupted.

Kelly had returned from her walk to see Mila holding her baby and she wanted to start a war, "why is she holding my baby?" she snapped, marching over to the pair of them and looking at Grace who at this point was no longer crying, thankfully.

Mila took a couple of deep breaths and once Ryan stroked the kids head she soon settled and Mila held her close, protecting her in her arms and it was kind of adorable. She grinned up at Ryan. "I could get used to this.." she just wanted to see his reaction, no way would she ever be ready for kids for at least a few years. But it was all knocked out of her head when Kelly came through the room and Mila panicked, standing up quickly. "I.. I'm sorry, Ryan said it was okay, I'll put her down." She frowned, putting Grace back in the cot quickly

Robbie practically threw himself down the slide when Henry called his name, he saw him as his own best friend and somewhat of a father figure since he was the only constant male in his life, "DINOSAURS?! LETS GO LETS GO!!" he said jumping up and down eagerly.

Ryan didn't even have time for Milas words to sink in properly before Kelly had caused a scene and in that moment he wished they could have sunken into the floor. "Kelly calm down, Mila is going to be around Grace just as much as you so there is nothing wrong with her holding her." but he could tell this wasn't going to be enough to calm his ex-wife down.

Kelly felt like everything was going into hyperdrive, "okay?! OKAY?! to hold MY CHILD." she swung her head around to Ryan as he spoke and she slipped back into her old unpleasant ways, "SHE isn't getting anywhere near Grace, this is OUR family, not one for this kid to try and step into." as she said kid she threw her hand towards Mila to point at her.

Mila had stayed quiet and polite for too long and now the baby was safe in the cot, she crossed her arms tightly across her chest, glaring over at her. Start a riot.. that was all she could hear in her head and she didn't want to, but this bitch deserved it. "First of all, it's not just your baby, it's Ryan's too and if he says it's okay, then it is. And I'm not stepping into your life but I'm Ryan's girlfriend and if Grace is going to be out our house I will be helping out." the final straw was when Kelly pointed st her and Mila went over, grabbing her hand hard and pushing it down.

"Exactly Mila is important in my life, just as Grace is and the two of them will be around each other a lot."

Kelly just about fainted when Mila perked up with some sort of sassy attitude and who was she to shove her hand down, "HA! Grace is going to be living with me, I'm her mother! Now get out of here Grace and I need our rest and you two are making me sick."

"You might be her mother but Ryan is her father and she deserves to have him in her life. It might not be ideal but it will be the best home she can be in, and that little baby deserves the world. And if you can't see that, then you're a shit mother." She turned her head to Ryan, staring at him. "Fight for your baby, I'll be waiting outside." She went out, slamming the door behind her as she walked out and down the corridor.

Ryan had such a wave of emotions flooding through him and once Mila finished speaking and she walked out he turned his head to Kelly, "If Grace is my biological daughter I will fight to be part of her life with all I have Kelly and you better not expect me to back down. I would much rather if we were able to do this without having to fight all the time, for her sake but you won't be able to push me out of her life. And you'll need to get use to Mila being a part of my life because she also isn't going anywhere." he moved over to Grace and gave her a kiss on the head before leaving the room, leaving Kelly in stunned silence.

Mila leaned against the wall and took a few deep breaths, her hands were in fists but she was staying as calm as she could, this wasn't the place or time for her to lose her fuse and she looked up when she heard Ryan coming out, and her frown turned into a smile. "I shouldn't have come today, it was way too much, I'm sorry." She took his hand when he walked over to her and gave it a gentle squeeze and looked up at him. "I mean it, if you are her father we will fight and you will get joint custody, Ryan."
