Ryan turned out of the room and he felt like a new man in a way, he had rarely stood up for himself in that relationship with Kelly and it was clear that she thought he was now a walkover. "what do you mean? I'm so glad you came because I needed you there." he slid his hand into hers as they continued down the corridor, "Yeah we will fight this together, if Grace is my child that bitch isn't going to stop me from seeing her. No way in hell." he looked over at Mila and smiled, "thank you for standing up for me back there, I appreciate it so much."

She smiled, but the look on his face looked worrying. "And it's not because I hate the baby, or I don't want to be involved. But maybe when you have grace over the first few times I could go back to my parents for the weekend or something?" She suggested as they began walking down the stairs with him.

Robbie had been entertaining himself with his colouring book that lived in the car for longer journeys and when they pulled up into the carpark his eyes were wide as he looked out the window at the museum, "YES!!" he squealed.

Ryan shook his head, "don't be silly, Kelly would have kicked off over something even if you weren't there. Sometimes I think she lives in this imaginary world inside her head where it's all things Kelly all the time." he let out a low chuckle. The chuckle faded as she spoke and he nodded his head a bit, "yeah, of course. you do whatever it is makes you feel most comfortable babe." he gave her hand a small squeeze though the suggestion had hurt him a little bit but he couldn't expect her to throw her all into this straight away.

"It seemed not to make me feel comfortable, I just want to try and keep the peace for a little while u pntil everytning is solved, Kelly is probably full of hormones right now and you just need to keep her on your good side, no matter how much of a birch she is." She smiled, walking back to the car, ruffling her fringe about as she pulled her phone out, loading up the pictures. "Look, look how cute you look." She smiled more holding her phone out to him.

She will pull herself together and get use to the fact that I have found someone who is important enough to share my world." he continued on to the car, stopping when she showed him the photo and he smiled again, "can you send that to me?" he opened up the car and they both got inside. "now where do we go for our little picnic"

Mila felt her heart flutter a little, he really did see her in his future and sometimes she just needed that reassurance that he was in this for the long haul. She might have been young but she didn't see herself being with anyone else ever. She wasn't even thinking about her devious doings with Zane. "I'm just saying, if you need me to take a back seat I will, but I'm gonna be with you every step that you want me there." She got into the car and loaded up Facebook, sending the photo over to him. "Hmmm, how about we go to the park? We can hire bikes too." She grinned.

Ryan chuckled a little as she spoke, "I'll make you ride in the back seat the first few times I have Grace in the car because I'll be terrified that I've not strapped up the baby seat properly." he couldn't lie he was terrified of trying to figure out how to be a father, he had no training and there was no classes in school about how to put on nappies. As he drove along they tried to decide on a place to go, "yeah that would be perfect, the weather is pretty good today so why not." and with that he drove towards the park, humming away to some music as they did.

Mila couldn't wait to see Ryan blossom as a father, he was going to be amazing at it, he was an actual grown up anyway so it was only expected. She always forgot about their age gap, until these trivial things came up but she didn't like to mention it too much. "I just thought it would be a cute idea that's all, we could even feed the ducks if you're feeling really wild." She leaned back in her swarm humming along quietly to the music while he drove alone, flicking through all her social media to keep herself busy.

Ryan felt like the luckiest man in the world, he had a loyal girlfriend who was sticking by him even as he became a father to his ex-wife's child. Not a lot of men could say that they had someone as incredible as Mila. "and if you are feeling extra wild we could go skinny dipping," he joked as he pulled into a carpark space. The picnic they had prepared was in the boot for when they were ready. Getting out the car he pulled his jacket off and shoved it into the boot as he pulled out the bag with the picnic blanket and food. "to the bikes!"

Mila clapped her hands, she had always wanted to go skinny dipping, it was just one of them things she wanted to tick off her bucket list.. just maybe not in the middle of the day in a busy park. She got out the car once they got to the park and shoved her leather jacket in with his, it felt a bit weird not being covered up but it was just too warm for it. "This is gonna be so fun, I'll race you!" She kissed his cheek and then legged it across the park.

Ryan shut the boot once she threw her jacket in, the weather seemed to have really pulled itself together to give them a lovely day, "your on!" he retorted and ran after her, catching up with relative ease considering just how athletic he was and he beat her to the bike rental. "just too slow," he said as he pulled her in for a quick kiss before turning to the attendant who was there, "two of your finest bikes please." and the lady walked them over to a set of bikes that she unlocked for them and he paid her in cash for a few hours of use.

Mila legged it as fast as she could, but she was unfit, for a slim little thing she didn't really have a fast bond in her body and with Ryan being the daddy long legs that he was, he caught up with her pretty quickly. "I will never learn, maybe one day I'll be able to race you." She laughed. Grabbing herself a cute little bike that had a bell and a little basket, she put the bag with the food and blanket inside and then hopped on. "I can't remember the last time I rode a bike." She began to pedal along slowly.

Ryan chuckled, "one day.. when I'm old and need my zipper frame to get around. Maybe then you'll beat me," he teased as he got onto the bike and the pair began pedalling along the path. The trail in the park was gorgeous and would make for a rather romantic bike ride, "It's not fair that you get such a cute little basket," he pouted but then let out a laugh, "other than the bike at the gym I'm the same, but it definitely feels good to be getting out and about like this."

Mila pouted at him, but he was right, he was so strong and he worked out a lot and well, her workout was running to work when she was late. "You only get a cute bike if you're a cute girl, those are the rules Ryan." She stuck her tongue out, cycling, her little legs working overtime to keep up with him as they went round, the wind blowing against her face and she was having such a good time, without a worry in the world. "We haven't done anything like this for ages."

Ryan had a wicked little look in his face, "so why did they give you the bike?" he teased, sticking his tongue out at her but it was obvious he was only kidding around. The pair of them cycled off along the track and as they went down a hill he stood up so that the wind rushed against his face like he use to do as a kid. Sometimes he wished he could turn back time to when he was fourteen and him and his mates would just cycle round the street for hours on end. "it's great isn't it, I've missed this. Just time spent together out of the house and having fun."
