It's 11:00 at night, you're alone and in a sparkly dress. It's not really what you had in mind for New Years Eve. You had big plans to go to a big party with your friends but that was bust. You had to work by the time you were ready, all your friends were already drunk and not answering your texts. Upset and a little pissed off, you head to the 24 hour Walmart to pick up some cheap alcohol and some snacks to prepare for your night alone. While scowering the wine aisle, you notice someone else there too. It was a guy about your age and he looks strangely familiar. He notices you staring and cracks a joke about you checking him out and you two get to talking. You two are both alone with canceled plans so he invites you to go over to his place. Usually you'd deny an offer like that from a stranger but you agree. You two spend the night together and with a lot of alcohol. You share a midnight kiss, and whatever else you can remember in your drunken haze. The next morning, you wake up and get ready to leave. On your way out you notice a picture on his dresser.. It's you and him, but it has to be from ten or more years ago while you were in school. And then it hits you. This had been your best friend until one year he just suddenly disappeared

You're out traveling and you go to a country. While at the new country you meet this amazing guy who shows you around, from the moment you saw him you knew you wanted him badly. But he doesn't see you as anything special, or so you think. At the end of the day he drops you off at your hotel and you kiss him, he kisses you back and one thing leads to another. The next morning you wake up and find a note next to you saying, 'I'm not who I claimed to be.' And an address written on it, you decide to go to the address and guess what? It ends up being the where the royals of the country live. Turns out you fell for the prince, and he didn't tell you.

Violet sighed as she tugged down the hem of her sparkly dress, feeling slightly too revealed for being in a Walmart at 11 o'clock at night. She headed down the wine isle and began to look for one of her favorites. She was still frustrated and extremely pissed off at her friends for ditching her and going to the party without her. Now she was left all alone on new years eve. Therefore, she needed drink, and lots of it to make her night become better. Spotting her wine she began to head over but stopped when a man, around her age, picked up the last bottle. However, that wasn't what got her - at least not yet. He looked very familiar to her but she just didn't understand where she new him from.

Jacob pulled on his shirt and quickly began to button it up as his eyes roamed over the beautiful girl in front of him. He didn't want to leave like this but he had to get back to the palace to deal with some problems. Although he knew that Cassia would end up hating him for lying to her about something so crucial, he had to tell her the truth because she was the only girl who truly cared for him and not his status or money. She was special and he didn't plan on letting her slip away from him easily. Grabbing a small piece of paper off the side he scribbled down a note before leaving his address for her. "Goodbye Cassia." He kissed her head gently before quietly exiting the room.

Her heart skipped a beat when she realised it was Jacob who had left the note. Her excitement died down a little when she read the words 'I'm not who I claimed to be'. The only other thing on the not was an address. She didn't really know what to do, should she go? What if he was a gang member or some crazy psycho person? She wanted to see him again though. Needed to see him again. She quickly got dressed before she ran out of the hotel and into a taxi. She gave the driver the address and then sat back and waited until they arrived at the destination. She frowned when they pulled up outside of a palace surrounded by tourists. ''I must have the wrong place.'' she frowned as she handed the man the money and got out. She walked to the gates and looked around, frowning. Why would he send her here? It must be some sort of joke so he didn't have to give her his real address she thought as she turned away, not really knowing what to do. Aaron sighed as he walked down the alcohol aisle to grab a bottle of his favourite wine. This was becoming so boring now. It had been the same routine every new year for the last five years. He didn't have many friends since he couldn't let anyone know where he was from. He had been living in hiding for the last five years so he had to keep a low profile so he wouldn't get caught. He grabbed the last bottle and stood up. He felt someone's eyes on him so he spun round to look at the person. Violet. His violet. He frowned, he hadn't seen her since the day he left. He had to hide the fact it was him though. He smirked ''You aren't very subtle when it comes to checking someone out, are you?'' he asked her with a little chuckle, a twinkle in his eye.

Violet blushed bright red as the man turned to face her. Taking him in properly now, she could tell he was a very handsome man but she still didn't understand why he seemed so familiar to her. "Don't flatter yourself, I wasn't checking you out. More like envying you for getting the last bottle of wine. It's my favorite." She pouted and looked up at him, wondering if it would help her at all to get him to hand the bottle over. "I thought men were more into Beer, plus its New Years Eve, shouldn't you be out at some bar getting drunk on something a little better than wine?" She sighed quietly as thought's of her own shattered plans came back to her. It was going to be a terribly boring night on her own, what a way to start the new year. Her arms wrapped around herself as she began to grow a little colder due to the fact she was still wearing her short little sparkly dress. It didn't do much to cover her and she regretted not changing before she left her house. All she wanted was to take that bottle of wine, go home and drown her sorrows with it but that didn't seem to likely yet because he still wasn't giving up the bottle.

Jacob had called his driver to pick him up round the back of her house so he wouldn't cause any suspicion. The last thing he wanted was for her to be bombarded with paparazzi when she didn't even know the truth about who he really was. He hoped that she would come and meet him at the palace and had informed all of the guards to look out for her and let her enter if they see her. He rarely visited the palace, none of his family did really. They all preferred their privacy too. He lived in the countryside most of the time but would travel to their other houses when he got bored. The palace was always swarmed with tourists and that meant he couldn't even get inside without them running at him. As the car pulled up he glanced out of the window to see an endless crowd of tourists behind the gates, begging for him to come over. He exited the car and simply gave them a wave before heading over to one of the head guards to ask if they had seen Cassia yet. He knew that if she was here then she would have just seen his little entrance because the cheering gave it all away. He hoped it wouldn't put her off though, for the first time in a very long time he had found a girl who he really cared about. She was beautiful and smart, the perfect combination and he couldn't wait to see her again. He needed to apologize for leaving and explain it all to her but most of all, he needed to tell her that he wasn't going to let her go easily. He wanted her and he would get her.

The guard chuckled ''Miss every woman here wants to see Jacob. I'm sorry but no. Please step away from the gate.'' Cassia frowned and took a step back. Another guard came running over ''Did you say your name was Cassia miss? He's waiting for you now.'' he said ''If you walk to the side entrance I will get him to meet you there. Just walked down the street and turn left.'' he said and gave her a smile. She walked down the street and turned left, coming face to face with a gate. She stood there nervously. Would he actually come? It suddenly hit her that he was probably a prince. Shit. She looked up and saw him coming so she quickly turned away and started walking away, hoping he hadn't seen her. She felt sick.
