I can't figure out from google what year it was when myspace stopped being myspace and became whatever it is now. I thought people in that age range would have been a bit young for it?

myspace is basically like this news site for pop culture i think... 
it used to be facebook before facebook was facebook but it was also kind of tumblr cause you could really customize everything and you had to choose eight of your friends who you would tell the world you value them above all of the rest of your friends. these friends were known as your 'top eight'.

i think maybe 2010 but dont quote me on that
i never actually used myspace, at least not that i can remember, but i think that might just be due to the fact that it was never a thing in norway we had like a norwegian equivalent instead that i sneakily signed up for when i was 10 without my moms consent lmaosad
but yeah i suppose if ppl were on average 12 yrs old when it stopped being a thing, they wont have been on there for too long if at all
