The first option is much better. Flooding the forum with 40 threads just for this sounds insane.

Question about option one
if you reuse them, you will only edit the first post, right?
so all the previous bids will be in the thread and it can be confusing to some if the bids is back to 0 or if it’s still at the highest bid (example 400cr) 

or do you have a plan for that?

It says in the poll that all posts will be removed so the thread is empty every time a new auction starts.

But how is that less work than just creating a new thread, and delete the old?

Don't know, I have no idea how it's going to work. But making a new thread each time, and then immediately deleting the previous one after it has finished, seems like the easiest option. That way there will only be one thread at the time, but you don't have to spend time cleaning out the threads.

Also my plan was to have them auto-set so there is no messing around to get the forums up.
