So, I gave it a shot too. First off, I'd like to thank @Alfie and @Aquilera , because I could use their wardrobes for this competition.

ASTOTHAN
Not all Gods bring fortune and happiness, that much we learned from Hades, God of the underworld. Yet, Hades still is important. All humans die one day and he delivers them a last resting place. Astothan, on the other hand, is liked by no one and the reason of his purpose still remains a secret to all. Never the less, he is a part of all of our lives, even though we don't want him to be. As his name reveals, he is also responsible for death, but while Hades serves his purpose in the afterlife, Astothan kills us from the inside out, seeing he is the God of despair and broken dreams. He lives a life of sorrow, filled with the hope of others, but incapable of giving anything back to human kind, except for pain and heartache. His only friend is his mystical companian, Zilla. Together they drain people from their dreams and replace it with a feeling of emptiness.
The hopes he drains from others run through his body, like blood in a human. It gives him his blue glow. He's mostly pictured with a black spiral behind him, referring to the draining and manipulation, and two hands beside him, one of them holding a human skull, while the other remains empty, except for the hopelessness that drips through the hands.
While Ares often uses his help to start conflict and wars, Astothan isn't a bad person. He's born for the job, but isn't looking to hurt others. He's even incapable of killing a fly. His greatest wish is to be able to give back what he takes and make it stronger while doing so. Maybe one day he will be capable of doing such a thing and then he might actually be a name people want to remember, rather than to forget.
ZILLAAstothan his trusty companian, Zilla, is a remarkable creature. Originally from Italy, the
Sidero is half deer, half fennec. Sidero's are known for their pitch black eyes and tears of blood dripping on their skin, leaving marks on their way down. The older a sidero gets, the darker the shade of red on their skin will be. They are often hunted down, because legend says that the sidero has a heart out of pure gold, which is ironic, seeing that people use that exact sentence to refer to someone as nice as can be. No one was actually able to capture a sidero yet, but there is certainly an amount of gold on their body, so the legends could be true.
Sidero's are dangerous creatures, if not treated right. They are able to drive their victims mad with gruesome visions, leaving them shaking in isolation. They bring depressing thoughts wherever they go, which gave them their more commonly known name: 'the creatures of despair'. So it's not strange to think that Astothan encountered a Sidero while doing his job. Zilla wasn't a gift at birth, like Pegasus. She lived in the wild once, threatening all who came too close. One day, she ran too far from home and ended up in Greece, where Astothan felt her power from above. He gave her a home and ever since they've been together, no longer living in loneliness and sharing their faith with each other.
