the guy who wrote alice in wonderland, told the story on a boat ride to a real girl named Alice Liddel, whom he would photograph, sometimes naked

it was originally called "golden afternoon" and its assumed he  based the caricatures on the Liddel family themselves

Fun Fact:
Silkie chickens are bantam chickens with feathers that are basically like soft fluff.  They are known for being soft, docile, and friendly. They are perfect pets for those first starting out with chickens, those with small kids, or those who just want to have a fluffy chicken buddy to hang out with.

In atoms, electrons don't orbit the nucleus in the neat orbits that drawings who. It's more of a blob around the nucleus. This means that sometimes electrons can orbit farther away then one would expect from their nucleus.
It is theoretically possible that an electron orbiting the nucleus in an atom in your body could be on the other side of the universe.

Nerves are made of one cell body stretched out. As such, the nerves from your spinal cord that go to the tip of your toes is one cell stretched out several feet. (that's one reason why nerve trauma is so hard to fix)

Dogs aren't true carnivores. They can technically survive on a (balanced, nutritionist worthy) vegetarian diet. Cats are obligate or true carnivores. They required an amino acid (taurine) that can't be found in plant material because their body can't make it like omnivore bodies can. (but it is in energy drinks sometimes??) ((i'm not saying give ur cat energy drink pls don't unless consulted to by a licensed healthcare professional))

There is a bacteria that is involved in some types of ulcers. Decades ago, scientists and doctors found this out and did their best to eradicate it. (H. pylorric, i believe). They did pretty good at that. Then they found out that A. it is usually only a minor factor for most people in ulcers and so rarely actually caused problems. and B. it did actually help balance stomach acid and provide some benefits. Thus, our eradication of this bacteria is actually probably a big part of why so many people struggle more with acid reflux/heartburn now and did little for the problem of ulcers.

ok i'll stop

yeah, mostly because the muscle that surrounds the esophagus (cardiac sphincter) is so strong it only loosens enough for food to pass down when the horse swallows. so basically it is a one way street. also horses have their stomach in a weird angle compared to the esophagus, so stomach contents can't really go back up. they don't even have the reflex to vomit, which makes sense i guess, given that they wouldn't be able to vomit even if they wanted to.

so if a horse ever eats anything poisonous (and they will, of course), they're kinda done for.

In best case scenario the vet are in time to put a hose in one of the nostrils  and then gently guide the hose down the throat and down to the stomach. The vet later pump in water and let the things come out thank to the hose.
