I have so little free time and it almost doesnt feel worth it to sign in to vp anymore. And if I try to make threads there's no interaction. Ive practically given up. I'm just so tired

I am so behind on everything happening on vp,
But somehow I also feel like nothing has actually happened ON vp

I really hope that the core team will be able to bring back the dress up game aspect




New rant

MY NEW NEIGHBOR'S DOG JUST HAD PUPPIES
Their dogs live outside permanently, arent fixed, bark at everything, and have been so aggressive and ready to attack my dog. AND THERES ABOUT TO BE MORE????

Its been one thing after another with this house, I swear.

Once a thread fizzles off of the hot topics, it kind of just... dies

Life happens I get it, but it feels impossible to hold conversations anymore because unless an immediate response is given it just feels futile, ya know....

This specific complaint isnt even just about vp. But in general about social media and texts and all of it-

They do but I also personally don’t partake in them the a great extent n I don’t rly feel like it makes vp worse for it idk…. Im social media hater number 1 the reason I like vp is because it specifically still feels like a forum compared to other places, other than that I agree social media and the state of the internet and the pace it is in is very exhaustibg

Yes there is a charm in the slower pace of a forum. Is it messier? Sure. But its part of the uniqueness of vp as opposed to just... using discord to communicate

Because I GET that discord is easier to use, but part of the fun of  vp is just chatting, ya know
Everything doesnt HAVE to be a winner thread, but people just dont respond. Just "did you see XXX said yyy about zzz" but dont reply to the initial topic

yeah it can be weird!! vp is just out of sorts lately, now that you've pointed it out hopefully it can get better
