yeah no i agree with you on that, this whole process has made me start thinking about existential things (do i have to suffer to be worthy of getting a decent job in the future and w/e) and me being even more bothered than before by how people/recruiters expecting us to study 100% and work extra all year around + work full time during the summer. it's insane!!

the job isn't the worst i could get but to speak to people 7 hours a day and shit might not be most fun lmfao

btw if u don't work during the summers: what do u do? any advice on what i could do when most friends are working during the days? i want an independant life and to not spiral ahaha

uuuhhh just chill tbh,, or hang out with friends ! my friends work only a few days a week so there's often always someone available. i work like one full day a week i think, i clean so i do that a few evenings i think it adds up to 8-10 hours a week or smth

i think i would see it differently if the job was in the same town as my friends/bf but it's in the town i study, where i don't have any close friends which sucks.... i would just be alone during the evenings and have to take the bus 2-3 hours to get to any friends/bf during the weekends, which i've done throughout the year and it kind of sucks

It sounds really shitty, I have a hard time as it is just thinking of getting a job so I would NOT do that to myself

ooh thats a nice hourly rate, i get paid way less wait let me calculate .. i get paid 83 SEK per hour so meh :/ but im hoping for a raise soon

ahh i really hope so. i think so, i do social work and i keep hearing that there's more than enough jobs for social workers rn
