As an engineering student we need to contact either companies or researchers in the university who will offer thesis work

I wish u all the luck in figuring out your topic !!!

we didn't rly have a proper thesis but I did write a final paper for one of my classes that kind of served as my thesis? idk man
I just chose a broad topic I liked (anime n fanfiction) and found some theoretical papers I liked, then advised my professor and she helped me formulate a research question

how did you come up with your thesis topic? i need to figure this stuff out asap but i have no idea what i can possibly write about or how to find a supervisor... any advice would be welcome tnx
I found a topic that I liked  I related with a book and tried to find a teacher to be my supervisor

I did al the work alone the teacher did nothing, no support, no good or bad critics. The only thing that she did is suggests that I change my theme after I wrote half of the work BUT with no suggestions about what to change. I said no, she diasssapeared for 3 months and re-appeared to see my work and say 'great job'!!!!!

yes what azriel said, like go to either google scholar or your unis search function and get an empty document for notes then like paste link to every one that seems relevant after skimming title+ abstract, then go back and sort them through and judge credibility later cos then its less overwhelming

ALSO look for review articles (or even other types but reviews are best for this) on similar topics and then go to their sources and see if you can find those papers this is fr the easiest way to find papers, someone else has basically done the job for u u just need to compile it to support ur stuff

idk i didnt know what to write about until i had already started the semester  . .. . but i figured it out once we had workshops and stuff like that
good luck!!!! writing a thesis is so fun once youve started actually digging and working with the topic  and i agree with devilcake look at relevant articles and what articles theyve cited. so easy to find multiple articles talking about exactly what you need. super time saving as well because you will know that most of them are relevant to your topic
google scholar is probably easiest to navigate but you get a lot of articles, you can limit your search to just that word by doing "word phrase whatever" . these "  ___  "
