hell to the no, I won’t pay them my money. if they can’t afford to the website already now, well why even try? They are poor and begging people to give them their money, it’s ridiculous

just me or does this have a bit negative tone
woooow u r hiding from your main XD anyway, well I wrote that I won’t support them with money, that isn’t negative. I’m not like naive as others to throw money in it. I do accept people who do it
are u saying genderteam with 28933 posts is not on their main
thats a team account obviously

Kinda excited for gsm to revive but have bit of feeling that it will die off in few years when the hype dies
Unless younger kids are going to keep it up but I have hard time believing that now 17-30 yos are going to play it for next 5-10 years again

For most I think its just checking it up and catching nostalgy vibes for while
Or maybe its how I think it will go with me that will lose interest towards the game after couple years

Guess we'll see but it obv had reasons why it shutdown so have bit of feeling that this won't be long lasting revive

Yeah dont think it will last long sadly
Theres anyway more games and stuff avaible for kids now than there were 13 years ago so gsm is not their top priority most likely

Will probably live off relying on the support from ogs who will lose interest in few years more or less and when it comes dead more people will leave forcing it to shutdown again

But thats why gotta take everything out of while it lasts  tho I wonder what made them thinking of bringing gsm back because it's pretty awful idea from business perspective imo or well insanely risky

Haven't looked into watagame that deeply but to me it bit seems that this is desperate move to avoid them from going bankrupt

they're desperate bc they're nearing bankruptcy so this is supposed to b their last push, is my theory
unless they will just like. y'know. run away with the money

i will sayd though, one thing to keep in mind is that theyre doing 1 server = costs going down, and all the people who were still on those servers are now 20+ and can more easily spend money, so i think itll have more of a chance of survival with a smaller userbase than it did in the final years of gsm, but it al lreally depends on what they do with it and how much they expect to make of it/need to make of it to consider it worth while

Personally I'm looking forward to it and want to see what comes out of it! If it doesn't succeed, then that's too bad but at least in the beginning I really want to get everything out of it that I can. It is a huge nostalgia trip for me and I'm just happy to see them trying to bring it back.

with stuff like nfts and earth 2 and such going abt these days, to me it still reads like a scam
like it'd b perfect: preying on ppl w nostalgia, setting the goal low enough (it's ridiculously low for running a website with any ambitious goals) so it has a chance to get funded

also reading recent comments, it appears money is now going through but ppl aren't getting confirmation emails and indiegogo isn't answering their tickets - which btw indiegogo isn't liable to ahaha which is why the platform is popular w scammers

oh another thing i am lowkey excited about: less item bloat. pls. fewer new items in general. not a dig at vp designers at all bc they're all incredibly talented and everything they make is 100% worthy of being in game i think

but also ... vp has 10,000 diff black tops, boots, panties, etc. that we realistically do Not need and iirc gsm was a lot less permissive w/ what kind of stuff they release
this item bloat makes me feel overwhelmed lol
