The package came all busted in a bag from the post office telling me it was busted as if I didn't notice, I freaked out for a bit but the needles and case are all unscathed so we're good.
The second package though!!! It was my birthday gift from @Heartbroken , this book. Man it is so cool.

That is so beautiful holy shit. Kind of reminds me of the style Noro has for some reason, but they usually have sort of self striping yarn. Maybe because it reminds me of this specific colourway they have that I'm obsessed with

Maybe you could learn to knit with it? I feel like there might not be enough to crochet something out of it but Knitting takes less yarn, you could definitely make like a hat or something with it. Maybe like a bag? I made this project bag a while back, the pattern was made by an internet acquaintance of mine, it's very beginner friendly and the result is really cute, I use mine all the time now.

im not familiar with that yarn but its prettyyy. i made a swatch of mine and its even more beautiful when its crocheted!! theres 215g so im thinking i will have enough for like a bucket hat or maybe use it for ribbing on a future sweater or something. im just playing with ideas rn
that bag you linked is super pretty though, im planning on learning how to knit later this year but right now i enjoy focusing on crocheting!!
